How can I craft a path to become the next Mike Johnson in Politics? (1 Viewer)

    I am currently volunteering for a political campaign right now for a republican running for office. Also, I am going back to school to get my master's degree in public policy.

    My ultimate goal is to be in congress eventually.

    I am going to run for smaller positions first then work my way up.

    However I will eventually run for a congressional district seat. I would like to know how I can craft a path to becoming the next Mike Johnson in politics.

    I choose Mike Johnson because he and I would like to do the same things on LGBTQ rights, illegal immigration, etc.

    This is who I want to be like when I get into politics. I would like to know how I can craft a path currently to become the next him politics?

    Homosexuality is observed in other species but even if that weren’t the case, why does it need to be considered “natural” to be allowed?
    It doesn't need to be considered natural. It just is completely wrong and not a normal lifestyle.

    I think it is very dangerous to be normalizing something that isn't at all and to be saying it is acceptable and okay.

    Who gave you the right to force your PERSONAL BELIEFS on other? Because this is what this is all about.
     
    If behavior between consenting adults is considered wrong and abnormal to you, it should be banned? So you believe in tyranny.
    I mean if that's what you want to call it. There are plenty of people who agree with me.

    But yeah one of my goals would be to get the supreme court to overturn the decision they made that made same sex marriage legal.

    That's a big goal of mine as well as proposing anti LGBTQ laws.

    I have plenty of other things I want to accomplish as well but these are big ones I want to get done.
     
    You uses words like "I think" and "I believe" as if you can force you oppinion on others. You have a very weird way of looking at what a politician can or can't do. I still remember your good and bad victims thread and there too you claimed that you as a politician had the right to judge people who lived their lives different than you do. And like your former post you seem to have posted precisely the same post on a lot of different message boards this time too.

    Anyway, if you really want to be of service, you should begin with door knocking for a few months, every day and night just knocking on doors asking how your potential constituents are doing, what they want and building human connection.

    Another thing you could do is seek out public opinion by reaching out at your local grocery store and chatting with the public on what their needs are. It's far less about speaking and more about listening. If you talk about what you want then public service may not be your thing.

    Finally, everyone in this country does not have the same religion as you do, so your faith means nothing to them. Don't push your faith on your constituents. It's not all about you and your religious beliefs! It's about the People.

    We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

    Tyranny is what you’re supporting. You think homosexuality is icky so you want it banned.
    Yeah just like roe vs wade was overturned. One of the biggest things I am working on is getting same sex marriage overturned by the supreme court.

    This is something I will be working on and fighting towards. If I am able to help it get overturned by the supreme court that would be a huge accomplishment of mine.

    I can’t imagine my greatest aspiration being to hurt people who aren’t harming anybody.

    You are motivated by bigotry and supremacy but you know that. You’re too comfortable with this to not know.

    If the SCOTUS has ruled that same sex marriage is protected under the Constitution, and they have, how would you as a legislator pass a law against same sex marriage that wouldn’t be overturned by the courts?

    I don't have to explain myself to. I already said how I am working on becoming a politician and what I am doing now. I will run for office one day and be in congress.

    I know exactly what I am doing to work toward being a politician you don't know what the hell your talking about at all.
