It's silly that they report votes as the counting is ongoing. They do it to create the drama of a back and forth race to keep viewers tuned in.

My advice is to watch the coverage on a network that leans toward your leanings. They'll frame everything in a way that is less stressful for you. The end result will be the same no matter any biased reporting, so might as well go with a bias you like.

I don't think the states and precincts can withhold count numbers, because it's a matter of public record. There are poll watchers from both parties and other groups, so I don't think the precincts can withhold the numbers they are reporting.
