Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) said Monday that everyone “should be aware” that former President Trump could announce an early victory, before races are called.

When asked in an interview by CNN’s Kaitlan Collins what could happen if Trump declares a victory that isn’t his, Sanders issued a warning.

“It’s not ‘what if,’ Kaitlan. It is not ‘what if’ — he will,” the senator said. “Everybody should be aware.”

The Vermont Independent claimed that as Election Day kicks off, Trump will announce early that he won “and the only way [they] could possibly lose is if there’s voter fraud.”

“That is what will happen. … This is why he has got to lose, because this is exactly how you undermine democracy: ‘The only way I can lose is if there’s fraud.’ Well, that means you can’t lose a legitimate election,” he added.

Last week, Trump started sowing doubt about the election results in Pennsylvania as he made explosive claims about fraud in the commonwealth.

“Pennsylvania is cheating, and getting caught, at large scale levels rarely seen before. REPORT CHEATING TO AUTHORITIES. Law Enforcement must act, NOW!” Trump posted last week on Truth Social.

A day earlier at a rally in Allentown, Pa., Trump highlighted reports about potentially fraudulent voter registration forms returned in Lancaster and York counties, though he misstated the nature of the issue...........

Do they have the legal authority to stop him? I think that's an interesting question.

CNN just reported that their exit polling shows that a 35% said saving democracy is their top issue and 14% said that abortion is their top issue. Those were the number 1 and 3 ranking top issues. That's a combined 49% that Harris addresses their top concern.

(A) execute warrants issued under the laws of the United States;

(B) carry firearms;

(C) make arrests without warrant for any offense against the United States committed in their presence, or for any felony cognizable under the laws of the United States if they have reasonable grounds to believe that the person to be arrested has committed or is committing such felony;

Unlawful flight to avoid proscecution is a felony, so I would say yes. I will defer to someone more knowledgeable than I
on this subject though

I dont have trouble with that LA, I see the shamers try, but it doesn't work on me. I've been raised in a culture who are not shame-able people.

That "both sides" bit apparently functions through a concept of shame I don't have. It seems to be intertwined, without a sense of shame for it to link up to that "both sides" bit goes straight to wayside, the same place urin goes.

I've been thinking the way to send him to prison would be to tell the secret service that he's not allowed to leave his house. Also restrict his visitors in the same way they would be restricted in a prison. Restrict his social media use.

Have the secret service be his prison guards. A two for one utilization of their efforts. Win win.
