She spent yesterday on the telephone for most of the day. I read that yesterday that she called the party leaders in all 50 states. That would take me three days.

I'm curios about when a reporter will ask Harris about her role in covering up Biden's condition. I have a feeling we will be waiting a while on that if it ever happens.

Biden is fine. He had a complete physical earlier this year, and all results were released to the public. You can go review them on line quite easily. He has been under a doctor’s care during his recent bout of Covid, with several detailed reports published from his physician. You can also see and read these.

He is aging. He thought he could stand up to the job of being President and running a campaign, but it became evident he wasn’t that vigorous. He has no cognitive issues and no dementia. Saying he does is just a smear and a lie.

I could be wrong.. but I think Biden's cognitive state and all that surrounds it is last week's news now to a lot of people, I think the issue has been exhausted to the point where people are ready to move on and I do not believe rehashing it is really going to register with the people in the middle who decide elections.

I disagree. Has any reporter asked Harris about it? The issue isn't going away despite Harris supporters wanting it to.

It's been "exhausted" because it's a huge political scandal when the Democrats and the media covered up Biden's condition for years.

I think it's more so been exhausted because of all the turmoil within the Democratic party regarding it in the past month or so.. I think if it hadn't played out like it did it might be different but I just think people are going to be ready to move on.

It’s pretty hard to think it’s anything other than a propaganda ploy when there isn’t anything specific ever alleged. Won’t even say exactly what “condition” he’s referring to, can’t explain how multiple members of the GOP in Congress interacted with him without saying anything. Can’t explain how he was and is keeping a completely normal presidential schedule with his “condition”.

I can see why Republicans think it should be effective. I'm just saying, for the reasons I mentioned, I don't think it is.

I think it’s more likely Trump is experiencing some phase/form of dementia. His stories often don’t make sense, he fabricates words, he’s prone to agitation, experiences unexpected sleepiness, and frequently loses his train of thought. We observed a rapid escalation of this behavior in my Dad before he passed earlier this year. His doctors indicated all of this was commonly observed in patients with dementia.

Biden is old and shows typical signs of normal age-related regression. I wouldn’t say he’s fine in the sense that he is showing signs of decline, but I don’t think how he’s doing now accurately reflects his health and abilities at other points over the last three and a half years. I also don’t think it means he can’t finish out this term, although a second term might have taken too much of a toll.

Trump is not fine, in all the ways that can be understood.

Well, you have to buy the lie that Biden has dementia for there to have even been a “cover up”. After the debate he hasn’t shown any signs of the type of confusion he had a few cases of that night. He lost his train of thought and trailed off. I’ve seen political pundits in their 40s do that just recently.

He is aging and slowing down as far as physically, and his speech impediment seems to be bothering him more than it did a few years ago. He was still able to have a wide-ranging press conference on foreign affairs after the debate and was extremely cogent. He’s just not got the stamina to both campaign and run the country at the same time.

It’s a made up propaganda ploy.

This surprises me. For those who don’t know, The Villages is a large age-restricted community in Florida, home to a lot of retirees. It’s not just that there are over 400 golf carts (for all I know, Trump might bring out 2,000) but that this many people in the older white demographic are proud and comfortable showing off their support for Kamala.

The older that someone is the more likely it is that they understand that no one is safe from fascists, not even the other fascists. Fascists worship one principle and one principle only, "the weak are meat, and the strong do eat." Fascists are moralistically cannibals who will devour and shirt out anyone that stands between them and the absolute power and wealth that they obsessively-compulsively salivate for.

It’s no surprise they’re out of touch with the general population.
