That wasn’t a big venue. There are probably at least 20 high schools in my state with larger auditoriums. And the video was at the start time.

It's the same size as the Monroe Civic Center. Imagine a Republican presidential nominee strugging to fill something that size in a state as ruby red as Louisiana.

so when something of general admission, it tends to fill up quickly early.. different than say a Saints game where people show up last minute because they have assigned seating . so if a general admission event has a lot of empty space early, that says something..

Yes, that is part of the rub here. If the candidate is popular, you generally need to show up early to get an actual seat.
