Hunter Biden received a $3.5 million wire transfer from Elena Baturina, the richest woman in Russia and the widow of Yury Luzhkov, the former mayor of Moscow, Senate Republicans revealed in their report on the younger Biden’s work in Ukraine.

Baturina is referenced in the 87-page report, which was released Wednesday, addressing her payment to Biden’s investment firm in early 2014.

“Baturina became Russia’s only female billionaire when her plastics company, Inteko, received a series of Moscow municipal contracts while her husband was mayor,” it said in providing background on the businesswoman.

The report described her involvement with Biden as “a financial relationship,” but declined to delve deeper into why the wire transfer was made.

The probe also found that Baturina sent 11 wires transfers between May and December 2015 to a bank account belonging to BAK USA, a tech startup that filed for bankruptcy in March 2019.

Nine of those 11 wire transfers were first sent to Rosemont Seneca Partners, the investment firm founded by Biden and Chris Heinz, stepson of former Secretary of State John Kerry, before being transferred to BAK USA.

We all know their is massive corruption on both sides of the aisle. Here is an alleged allegation against Hunter Biden who was allegedly enriching himself because his Dad was Vice President.

Odds that they'll notice that Hunter cooperated and came to a plea deal and that when someone just refuses and stonewalls month after month, they're far more likely to be fully prosecuted?

    Also zero.

Odds that they'll use the plea deal as evidence for a conspiracy either led by or in favor of Joe Biden?

    1:1.

...an apparent lie on a gun permit application.
That gun charge tells me this was an incredibly weak case for the Feds. Had he been Hunter Smith, this would have been handled solely by the IRS, if at all. Gym Jordan needs to look at the oranges of this investigation!

The Republican Party has an opportunity to show a hint of integrity here, will they use it or double down on the lies?

“Wow! The corrupt Biden DOJ just cleared up hundreds of years of criminal liability by giving Hunter Biden a mere ‘traffic ticket.’ Our system is BROKEN!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

    That didn't take long.

The Speaker of the House basically said the plea deal was more proof of a "two-tiered" justice system. Lol, when you can't win and double down.

Yes, one of the lawyers on Twitter (IIRC) said that is a rarely used charge.

I've been listening to Dan Abrams saying that the gun charge of lying about drug use is almost never charged by itself. It would almost always be charged along with more serious gun charges, like the lady that allowed her 6 year old to get a gun to shoot someone. He was saying that Hunter is only being charged because his last name is Biden. If true, that makes this a political prosecution.

The tax charges are about paying his taxes late. That's almost always just a fine. Abrams said that Hunter probably pled to avoid jail time, but I can't imagine these charges leading to jail time. If we have people in jail for paying their taxes late and lying about drug use on a gun form, then we would have a huge amount of right-wingers in jail. I know some right-wingers that would be in jail for these charges.

I'll be impressed when they charge him for the bribes for The big Guy. Until then, this is to give themselves plausible deniability for the well-documented fact that they are going after Trump for being Trump.

Nice touch, insisting that the gun charge be a felony. Good way to send a message to anyone who owns a stabilizing brace that they legally bought, and thinks that the ATF won't really classify them as felons.
