Hunter Biden received a $3.5 million wire transfer from Elena Baturina, the richest woman in Russia and the widow of Yury Luzhkov, the former mayor of Moscow, Senate Republicans revealed in their report on the younger Biden’s work in Ukraine.

Baturina is referenced in the 87-page report, which was released Wednesday, addressing her payment to Biden’s investment firm in early 2014.

“Baturina became Russia’s only female billionaire when her plastics company, Inteko, received a series of Moscow municipal contracts while her husband was mayor,” it said in providing background on the businesswoman.

The report described her involvement with Biden as “a financial relationship,” but declined to delve deeper into why the wire transfer was made.

The probe also found that Baturina sent 11 wires transfers between May and December 2015 to a bank account belonging to BAK USA, a tech startup that filed for bankruptcy in March 2019.

Nine of those 11 wire transfers were first sent to Rosemont Seneca Partners, the investment firm founded by Biden and Chris Heinz, stepson of former Secretary of State John Kerry, before being transferred to BAK USA.

If Bobulinski had any credible evidence of Joe Biden or Hunter Biden doing anything illegal, he would have taken it to AG Barr and Barr would have had a news conference about it.

If Bobulinski had any credible evidence of Joe Biden or Hunter Biden doing anything corrupt, he would have taken it to a Republican Senate committee chairperson and that chairperson would have started a very public hearing on the matter.

The fact that neither of those has happened is fairly credible and compelling evidence that Bobulinski doesn't have any credible evidence to support any of the criminal or corrupt actions that he's accusing Joe Biden and Hunter Biden of doing.

Just read this story below, they're butt hurt as all hell that their little propaganda story isn't being spread widely and effecting the election. It's so rich. The main question should be is the information accurate and it appears that at least Tony Bobulinski is credible. He spoke with the FBI and turned over all the emails, text messages, etc to the FBI. Assuming it's true wouldn't you want to know if the guy who might be the next President is corrupt and was profiting off of his position as VP?

We may just have been too polarized this go 'round for the Hunter Biden stuff to stick, but I agree with you that the Trump campaign hasn't found a central message that's easily conveyed and understoodon Hunter Biden and that at this point I think they've waited too long to deploy it for it to have any meaningful effect prior to the election.

True...but at the same time, digging deeper shows that she didn't SEND classified emails from her private server. There were message chains that had classified information in them (some of which wasn't properly marked as classified)

  Which is their biggest problem. With the Hillary emails thing, there was enough actual meat on the bone, verified by US law enforcement, that their misleading claim had legs. With the Hunter Biden story, there is nothing that has been actually verified as being true, and each time someone points out something questionable about the current story, it shifts to a completely different story.

2. If 1 is done, then, they may prove some specific dealings, but are any illegal or really improper?

3. I'm not up on Hunter's drug use and issues, was this during that time?

4. Doing business in Russia or China isn't illegal. For some industries, it's the only option.

The overall narrative about it, seems to be gossip. A lot of politics has turned to gossip.

Saw a YouTube video from that guy in Kentucky who is a leftist, but speaks some very practical common sense. He put this whole thing in perspective. He said there’s no evidence that any of it is true, that Joe Biden illegally took money from anyone. He’s not necessarily a Joe Biden fan, he calls him a “tourniquet”, someone who can stop the bleeding.

Here’s his pitch, as best as I can recall:

But, let’s say it’s all true, in fact let’s say that as soon as he is sworn in, Joe will take $1 billion dollars directly out of the US Treasury and put it in his pockets. Ridiculous, but let’s say it’s true.

As long as he actually runs the government competently, and combats the virus with science and common public health knowledge, it’s a damn bargain. Comes out to about $4000 per American life saved. Not to mention avoiding disastrous effects to our economy.

Of course we don’t have to make that choice, because Joe Biden won’t do that.

So, even if everything they say about Joe Biden is all true, Trump is so very bad for America that it makes not a bit of difference. That is why nobody can take this Hunter stuff seriously. And nobody should.
