Meant to post this when the Scott Adams/Dilbert story broke

Who are far right celebrities that you are aware of?

I think Jon Voight is probably the granddaddy of them all with James Woods not far behind

    There's Ted Nugent for sure

Hercules' Kevin Sorbo and Lois & Clark's Dean Cain

Scott Baio had his moment at the RNC, I haven't heard anything from him since

I'd add Kanye West but he more seems to be just losing his mind

I'm pretty sure that Drew Carey, Tim Allen and Kelsey Grammer are conservative Republicans (which is fine) but as far as I know none of them went off the deep end

Roseanne Barr seemed to go full far right

Growing Pains Kirk Cameron is super religious, but I've never heard him comment on anything other than religion (it would just be an assumption that someone that religious is far right)

The pandemic opened the doors to some anti-vax, conspiracy minded celebs which doesn't necessarily have anything to do with politics

    Those would include:

    Person of Interest's Jim Caviezel
    Black Panther Letitia Wright
    Lost's Evangeline Lilly

    Think of anyone else?

The Brady Bunch star Susan Olsen, who portrayed Cindy Brady in the beloved Seventies sitcom, has claimed a revival series was axed due to her controversial views and support for Donald Trump.

In a recent appearance on the Walk Away Campaign podcast, Olsen said a reboot of The Brady Bunch, which originally aired from 1969 to 1974, was in the works at CBS Studios.

However, the revival series was scrapped, she claims, by the network over her past remarks on Covid-19 vaccines and the LGBTQ+ community.

According to Olsen, now 63, the new series was expected to follow the Brady Bunch children as adults, with her playing a libertarian podcaster.

Following the end of the original Brady Bunch,Olsen became a political radio show host. She was fired from LA Talk Radio’s Two Chicks Talkin’ Politics in 2016 after an incident with openly gay actor Leon Acord-Whiting, who called her “a Trump fanatic” and accused her of spreading “outrageous misinformation” on the show.

He then posted a screenshot of a private message Olsen had allegedly sent him, in which she used a homophobic slur, per Entertainment Weekly.

At the time, LA Talk Radio issued the statement: “We will not tolerate hateful speech by anyone associated with our radio station and have severed our ties with a host that veered off the direction in which we are going.”

“I did have a phone call with my [TV] siblings and my agent,” Olsen said. “Everybody was saying, ‘We’re sorry, but they just won’t budge. They just will not have you in this.’ I’m like, ‘Wow, I’ve been canceled. A role that I’ve played for over 50 years, I can’t play it now because I’m too dangerous.’ I was like, ‘Well, okay guys, good luck, I hope you can sell it.’”

Olsen said the studio “did a web search and they came up with 50 pages” of comments she had made on social media “and the resounding result was, ‘No, we cannot have her in a show. If we go forward with this project, it will not be with her.’”

The actor added: “To be honest, those 50 pages were my greatest hits. I stand by everything I said. I don’t just say things.”………

Bolding mine. How can one listen to Donald Trump and not think he’s the voice of reason?
    =============================

Sky F1 pundit Danica Patrick has voted for Donald Trump in this year’s US presidential election – adding that it is the first time she has ever gone to the polls.

The former NASCAR and IndyCar driver, who was a pundit on Sky Sports’ coverage of the US Grand Prix in Austin last weekend, chaired a town hall with Trump’s running mate JD Vancetwo weeks ago in North Carolina.

The 42-year-old, who is the only woman to ever win an IndyCar Series race, revealed her early vote on her Instagram page on Wednesday, saying: “I voted today, for the first time.

“I made a rule for myself that if I didn’t vote I could not have an opinion about the outcome, because I didn’t earn that right.

“Not this time. I voted for Donald Trump and I can’t wait to have him make America great again!

“Thank you Stephal Vorson for walking me through the process! Anyone that knows what to do… help them vote and vote early!”

Patrick had, earlier this week, appeared on Fox News to explain her reasoning for backing Republican nominee Trump.

“It feels like voting for Donald Trump is like the vote of reason,” she said. “It’s like the rational, reasonable choice.………

It sounds like Patrick has been hitting the gummies.

She believes in lizard people - reptilians - so she has zero idea what is reasonable.
It's that she believes it's a certainty and not just a possibility that's unreasonable. I believe it's possible that alien species might live among us, but there is no reasonable evidence that shows it's a definite certainty.

I'm quite certain that a Neanderthal man lived down the road from me when I was a kid. He was an OK guy, but we kind of hurried past his house when we were out on our bikes.

Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre is set to campaign with former President Trump in the critical swing state of Wisconsin next week.

Trump’s campaign said that the Hall of Fame former NFL player will be a “special guest” speaker when Trump visits Green Bay, Wisc., on Oct. 30, less than a week before Election Day…….

    Why hasn’t he been prosecuted?

I wonder if the idiot knows Brett Favre isn't as beloved in Green Bay since he betrayed them by signing with Minnesota.

As the US men’s national team prepared to kick off against Panama earlier this month, Soccer Twitter warmed up for the first game of the Mauricio Pochettino era.

Amid his routine match analysis, America’s most prominent soccer pundit retweeted old footage of Barack Obama discussing immigration policy that surfaced in an attempt to make the former president appear hypocritical and discredit Kamala Harris by association.

The jarring mix of sports and politics is normal for Alexi Lalas, who stands out among soccer broadcasters for his open engagement with the imminent American presidential election and for his party affiliation.

Lalas gave an interview on the Fox Business channel in July from the Republican National Convention which careened from how the event is “a cool place to be” to a discussion of the Barcelona prodigy Lamine Yamal. Speaking on Fox News radio from the convention, Lalas said he wants to challenge “the stereotype that exists when it comes to Republicans and certainly the right side of the political spectrum … I live in California, I work in soccer, I’m like a unicorn when it comes to politics out there and yet there are a lot of things that can unite us.”

To judge by the volume of online abuse he attracts and airs on X – and to which he often responds with wit and generosity – his political output is having the opposite effect. That’s not surprising when his feed amplifies right-wing talking points, such as Lalas’ recent rehashing of video of a publicity stunt in which Donald Trump served fries to fawning supporters at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s in a specious attempt to taunt Harris.

The ginger-bearded face of American soccer in the 1990s, a defender and rock musician who played in Serie A and won 96 caps for the USMNT, Lalas played every minute of the host nation’s four matches at the 1994 World Cup and became, wrote The Los Angeles Times, “the cult figure of America’s high summer”. After retirement he worked as an MLS executive, including for the Los Angeles Galaxy when they signed David Beckham.

The mellow, mumbling kid who let David Letterman trim his pumpkin-hued goatee after USA ’94 is now a 54-year-old greying purveyor of indignant tirades for Fox Sports, proudly repping a segment of society who equate the profundity of their patriotism with the prominence of their Stars and Stripes flags and the decibel level of their bellowing about American greatness.…….

It's amazing this idiot has had a job in soccer so long.....Back in the day when I was involved in youth soccer (2006-13) he was considered a joke back then.....he's unlistenable to me.....

Famed Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin on Wednesday endorsed Donald Trump for president, citing Trump’s prioritization of space exploration while he was in office.

“Over time, I have seen our government’s approach to space wax and wane,” Aldrin wrote in a statement. “But under the first Trump Administration, I was impressed to see how human space exploration was elevated as a policy of high importance again.”

Aldrin pointed to a number of Trump-era policies, including creation of the Space Force, in the statement. He also shouted out billionaire entrepreneur and major Trump backer Elon Musk as a visionary for what he called the “private sector space economy.”

Trump and Aldrin’s relationship dates back to at least 2019, when Trump invited astronauts to the Oval Office to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. At the time, Aldrin was critical of the government’s investment in space exploration.

“Actually, I’ve been a little disappointed over the last 10 or 15 years,” Aldrin said at the time, with then-NASA administrator Jim Bridenstine in the room.

Aldrin has been active in Republican politics. He spoke at CPAC in 2016 and has endorsed GOP candidates in down-ballot races as well.

“Most Americans rightly consider it an honor to cast their vote for a leader they believe will best serve the nation,” Aldrin wrote. “For me, for the future of our country, to meet enormous challenges, and for the proven policy accomplishments above, I believe we are best served by voting for Donald J. Trump.”……

    Senile.

I genuinely thought that someone might be in control of his account and posting shirt he can't publicly disagree with because he doesn't have enough access to the outside world. Elder abuse.

First we had the very creepy “spanking your 14 yo daughter” fantasy he said right out loud, now this? Tucker needs psychiatric help.
