I'd add Kanye West but he more seems to be just losing his mind

I'm pretty sure that Drew Carey, Tim Allen and Kelsey Grammer are conservative Republicans (which is fine) but as far as I know none of them went off the deep end

Roseanne Barr seemed to go full far right

Growing Pains Kirk Cameron is super religious, but I've never heard him comment on anything other than religion (it would just be an assumption that someone that religious is far right)

The pandemic opened the doors to some anti-vax, conspiracy minded celebs which doesn't necessarily have anything to do with politics

The DC actor appeared at a Donald Trump rally in Michigan on Saturday to throw his support behind the former president.

“I’m not gonna take too much time, but I did just wanna just give you a little context about why Shazam is sitting here talking to you about these various things,” said Levi, referencing his superhero character.

“I grew up in my family that was Christian conservative, that was pretty much the lane that we were in. My parents were Kennedy Democrats that then turned into Reagan Republicans, and they taught me to have a healthy level of distrust for the government and a healthy level of distrust for industry that runs amok.

“And for a long time, I was like, ‘Man, I really want to find a politician that represents all of the things that I want and I want to see in a presidential candidate.’ And this year, I found Bobby Kennedy, and I thought, ‘Man, this guy is it. He’s the real deal.’ And in a perfect world, whatever that would look like, perhaps I would have voted for Bobby. But we don’t live in a perfect world. In fact, we live in a very broken one, we live in a country that has been hijacked by a lot of people who want to take this place way off the cliff. And we want to stop that, right?”

Levi continued: “We’re here to make sure that we are going to take back this country, we are going to make it great again, we are going to make it healthy again. And so, I stand with Bobby, and I stand with Tulsi, and I stand with everyone else who is standing with President Trump. The Wall Street Journal reported earlier this year that Musk had said he planned to donate $45m each month to a Super Pac backing Trump (Musk has denied the report).

But the Wall Street Journal’s reporting on Thursday revealed that Musk has already been spending tens of millions of dollars to back conservative causes. In 2022, he spent more than $50m to fund anti-immigrant and anti-transgender advertisements by a group called Citizens for Sanity. The group’s officers are employees of America First Legal, a non-profit led by Stephen Miller, a close former Trump aide.


Musk also has donated millions to another rightwing group, Building America’s Future, Reuters reported on Thursday. The outlet reported the timeline and exact amount he has given were not clear.

The group has focused on reducing Kamala Harris’s support among Black voters, according to NBC News. The group has also launched advertising criticizing Joe Biden and Harris for their support at the border.……

I just finished The Bill Gates Problem: Reckoning with the Myth of the Good Billionaire. It looks at the problems of billionaire philanthropy specifically through the focus on Gates and the foundation. For me one of the key issues is the tendency for wealth to claim expertise in areas where they have none combined with trying to drive philanthropy with their worldviews and belief systems as opposed to what the people and countries they are claiming to help actually need or want.

And when did Musk start buying a high volume of shares in Twitter before eventually buying the company, January, 31st 2022.

It's starting to look more and more like a long running, coordinated effort to overthrow our democratic government. All government contracts that Musk has that are tied to national security need to be terminated immediately. Musk and his cohorts can not be trusted with those.

Hollywood actor Dennis Quaid said in a recent interview that he plans to vote for former President Trump in 2024, describing the presumptive GOP nominee as someone who “stands up to people.”

In an interview released Tuesday on “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” Quaid denounced what he called the “weaponization of our justice system,” echoing many of Trump’s concerns about the state of the country and criticizing President Biden’s approach to foreign policy.

“I myself, I think — I think I’m gonna vote for him … in the next election. Yes, I am,” Quaid said when asked what he thinks of Trump.

“It just seems to me, it just makes sense,” he continued. “I was ready not to vote for Trump until — what I saw is more than politics. I see a weaponization of our justice system, and a challenge to our Constitution.”

Quaid took issue with the investigations into Trump’s alleged criminal behavior, which have led to two federal indictments and two state indictments, including the ongoing trial in New York related to hush money payments to a porn actor ahead of the 2016 presidential election.

Trump also faces both a federal indictment and an indictment in Georgia over his efforts to stay in power after losing the 2020 presidential election. And special counsel Jack Smith brought another federal indictment against Trump alleging unlawful retention of White House records and obstruction of law enforcement’s efforts to retrieve them.

“Trump is the most investigated person probably in the history of the world. And they haven’t been able to really get him on anything,” Quaid said.

On the hush money trial, he added, “In fact, what is the crime? I still can’t figure it out.”..........
