President Joe Biden, former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have been confirmed as speakers at the convention. Obama and the Clintons delivered speeches during the 2020 DNC, which was largely held virtually to prevent the spread of Covid-19 amid the pandemic.

I was watching the video below of new poll numbers from Texas and how Trump was freaking out about it and learned Tim Walz son is neurodivergent and has ADHD. Confirmed with the article below. That actually puts his emotions into context because my kid is neurodivergent. He can get really excited as well and become overwhelmed with emotion when he's really happy about something. It's extremely refreshing to see that type of joy because people can often be so guarded. Makes it even more repugnant how the right wing has gone after him.

If he had resigned much earlier, then I would've had more respect.

You're right that Pence would have no effect on MAGA cultists, but there is a contingent of Republican voters voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020 that were disgusted by J6, and he is uniquely situated to speak to those voters if he so chose.
