I am seeing some articles about a CNN whistleblower. My sources are only one sided, so I am a little skeptical of the validity.
However, apparently project Veritas has a whistleblower who wore a hidden camera to work.
The accusation is that CNN has been running their news with a tad of bias. (No surprise here for some of us) We will see how this plays out.

I gave you Daniel Dale's twitter. Twice.

Last night, Dale chronicled 26 lies (I arrived at this number by counting tweets he made while fact checking, in real time, last night's rally) Trump told in 80 minutes. A couple of these are based on things that might still happen, possibly, but have not happened yet. Even disgregarding those, he's at a cool two dozen.

This was last night. You don't even have to go back a week.

If you *still* aren't seeing it, it's because you don't want to
Oye, I’m not finding the link. Was it in this thread?

yes. In two places. The second time, I even bolded and underlined the hyperlink to make it conspicuous.
Where? I’ve gone through the thread three times now and I’m not seeing a link.

    The only reason the first

It may that it was in the Media Literacy thread, along the same time some of us were discussing whether Snopes was credible.

It was in a response to you here: https://madaboutpolitics.com/threads/media-literacy-and-fake-news.21288/post-27600

edit: the real time fact checking started after this tweet:

OYE, as someone who touts media literacy and how we should really look at the info presented. Please refer me to the actual trump tweets, not a pundits view Of his statements. Provable lies should be fairly easy to find with as many as being claimed.

And it was in a different thread you rascal. You had me chasing my tail. Lol

oh snap, I just looked up who mr Dale is. He works for CNN. Probably not the most credible source as everyone knows that CNN is a leftist media outlet.

It is not a pundit. And it's not a pundit's "view." And I counted outright lies - not tweets interjecting opinion or speculation. There were more than 26 tweets during the rally - I went through them and counted the fact-based ones that were lies. I'm pretty sure I put more into this than you, even though you are the one who continues to insist on seeing proof.

Again, this isn't punditry. It's a reporter listening/watching Trump's rally and documenting each falsehood, based on facts and previous things Trump has established in prior rallies, speeches, legislation, etc.

I never said they were Trump's tweets. I explained what Dale did. I gave you background on his job before he was doing this full time. I think I made it quite clear.

Also, if we are going to use SR names here, then can I use yours and Beach Friend's? Because it was my understanding that this is going to be separate in that regard.

I edited my post above to include that HE WORKS FOR CNN. As we all know, cnn is a leftist media organization.
as far the names, I never even noticed it changed. My bad, I saw the pic and went with it.

Ayo, please refer me to the actual trump tweets you would like to discuss.

    Don't deadname me, bro!

Seriously though, I think I have used "Oye" here before simply because the name you chose here is so similar, as well as the fact that when I see that avatar that's what I think.

Seems understandable to me, but I for one will certainly make an effort not to do that in the future.

Why are you limiting your discussion to Trump’s tweets? Are the lies he says out loud with a mic in his face not relevant?

lets go 1 for 1. I gave you a truth that was put out, now you provide a lie. Then we can go back and forth and see who runs our first.

The cool thing will be to debate if what we put out is a lie or truth. I’m starting out pretty good with a unanimous truth on this issue. Your turn.

    Post 64 in this thread.

The gist of the WaPo article was that O’Keeffe and Project Veritas sent in a woman claiming to have a bombshell story regarding Roy Moore. They sniffed out her bullshirt and found out who she worked for because these people are terrible at this.
Uh, can you give me what they reported that was false and maybe link a story.

CNN is a left wing biased media source willing to make up lies about the president.
Well that’s not even remotely a unanimous truth.

I thought it was going to be that Project Veritas can’t be believed even if they say something close to truth.

Well that’s not even remotely a unanimous truth.
What do you mean? Are you saying that Project Veritas provided meaningful insight to the public? Will you help spread the truth?

Reading this thread, you would think the whole world already knew what Project Veritas uncovered.

Oh goodness no. Project Veritas and insight are diametrically opposed. The videos provide bupkis.
Reading this thread, you would think the whole world already knew what Project Veritas uncovered.
Well that doesn’t say much for the quality of discussion here so far.

The takeaway isn’t that PV provided anything more than once again doctoring footage to show a low-level contractor with a bone to pick recording a normal conversation at cable news and entertainment network. They played it up as explosive but it’s not. They played it up as scandalous but it’s not. They labeled it whistleblower but there’s nothing illegal or untowards in the video. Again, it’s PV acting as if they are covering a huge newsworthy event or events but showing nothing but their propensity for self-aggrandizement.
