It's hard for me to believe that video is accurate. If it's real why didn't police fire back? Why wasn't it plastered all over the news? Why are there no reports of no one in a shoulder to shoulder group of people being injured by the falling bullets?

I'm not saying it's not legitimate, just that I'm skeptical.

“I was in the D.C. riots,” he told the investigators, according to a police transcript. “I’m the one in the video with the gun right here.”

    snip

Now, footage released by another Jan. 6 rioter appears to show Banuelos firing the gun into the air twice during the chaotic scene on the west side of the Capitol, as rioters battled with police. Online sleuths also surfaced U.S. Capitol Police surveillance footage previously released in connection with another Capitol attack case that shows the man they’ve identified as Banuelos appearing to fire the gun. They found multiple other videos in which the gunshots can be heard.

    How many insurrections are unarmed?
January 6th was extraordinarily violent and people did come armed with mace and other things that they used to attack the officers but I have always been amazed about the lack of gunfire.

The only real conclusion I can come to is that we just got lucky there and I guess that's part of the reason why the cops themselves pretty much kept it at hand-to-hand combat because they knew if they started putting people down that the whole thing would go to another level.
The dictionary definition of insurrection is vague and doesn't mean anything in regards to our legal system. Also, the BLM riots would qualify as an insurrection if we are going by the dictionary definition:

a violent uprising against an authority or government.
For many who were involved that day January 6th was a real attempt at disrupting and preventing the transition of power to Biden and had the ultimate intent of helping Trump remain in power.

It occurred in the context of Trump's rhetoric and background attempts at remaining in power. It is all tied together and I think the most accurate way to frame it is as an attempted self coup that created the atmosphere for supporters to feel it was their duty to Trump and country to try and prevent Biden from taking office, which was done via an insurrection at the Capitol on January 6th.

While our country is allocating huge funds to support Ukarnia, they are broadcasting a video on the TV channel ridiculing Biden, who, in fact, is the main lobbyist for assistance to this country. This is Slavic gratitude. If it were not for our budgets, the Russian armed forces would have sent Ukraine into the Stone Age long ago. We introduce sanitary measures, send money, weapons, collect humanitarian aid, agitate other countries to help, they respond by mocking our leader, which only we have the moral right to do. Now I understand that it was not for nothing that Congress blocked another aid package for these ungrateful people.

This is objectively funny, actually. Who is “our country”? 🤣

I find one sentence in your comments very interesting: “This is Slavic gratitude.” Oh, there is also: “…introduce sanitary measures…” which says to me that you deem Ukrainians are unsanitary. So, gratitude expression depends upon the geography where one is born? No, what is see here in the entire post is something far different.

What I see is a person/bot/troll posting undisguised bigotry as well as tacit approval of Putin’s actions. I do not think you care at all about Biden.

Idioms and slang are really hard for bots like this.

    it certainly is worded oddly

Perhaps we should present our regards to the comrades at the Internet Research Agency?
Though I hate to assist them, I'll give 'em this.

Nobody in America gives a flying fart about "Slavic gratitude". It you Rus who have a problem with Slavs. Us Anglo-Saxons couldn't care less.

.............But the situation is much more than an annoyance for the 7 million U.S. households that still do not have access to broadband internet — 90 percent of them in rural areas. Many times that number are “underserved,” with speeds below 100 mbps, or have high-speed broadband infrastructure but can’t afford service. For these tens of millions of rural residents without a tether to the Information Age, telemedicine, distance learning, telework and e-commerce are all but impossible.

In Rappahannock County, where my farm is, even telephone calls are problematic without high-speed internet. Cellular coverage is spotty, and the old landlines frequently go out when it rains, leaving people entirely isolated. County supervisors told me of an elderly resident with a medical emergency who had no internet service and no dial tone on their landline, so they had to drive to a place where there was cellular reception just to dial 911.

Likewise, distance learning during the pandemic was excruciating in Rappahannock, where most of the 900 public-school students lacked reliable internet. Parents would idle their cars in the county library’s parking lot after hours so their children could use the library’s WiFi to send in homework. Web access was so limited during those times that one of the local internet service providers asked customers to ration their internet usage.

But all this is about to change — in Rappahannock and in the rest of rural America.

The Biden administration has launched the most ambitious federal program for rural areas since rural electrification. Back in the 1930s, only 1 in 10 farms had electricity. Thanks to New Deal legislation, rural electricity became universal by the mid-1950s. Now, Biden-era programs are funneling $90 billion into high-speed internet over 10 years, with the goal of having universal broadband (defined as 100 mbps download speed and 20 mbps upload) by 2030.

The 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, for example, devoted $65 billion to the task, including $42 billion for the Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment program. Among other pieces of legislation, the 2021 American Rescue Plan provided another $10 billion that states could use for high-speed internet.

President Biden probably won’t be getting much thanks from the rural beneficiaries of his programs; nearly three-quarters of those in rural precincts voted for Donald Trump in 2020. Some Republican lawmakers condemned these bills as “socialism” and even applied the label “traitor” to those who supported the infrastructure bill.

But the massive rural infusion makes good on Biden’s promise to be “a president for everybody,” as he put it to a gathering of House Democrats this month. “A lot of these things are happening in red states, but the Americans need help,” he said..............

Driving the news: New Orleans magician Paul Carpenter told NBC News on Friday he "created the audio used in the robocall" of Biden after Kramer hired him, but he "did not distribute it" and there "was no malicious intent" — noting he "didn't know how it was going to be distributed."

A political consultant for a rival candidate hired him to make the audio but he claims to be ignorant about how it was to be used. In other words the “magician” is an idiot.

He just wants us to believe he’s an idiot so he doesn’t get charged with a crime.
