It's only acceptable to a minority of white people who are also too cowardly to openly admit it's acceptable to them. Racism and cowardice inherently go hand in hand and they are feed each other. They are very a very loud, toxic and dangerous minority, but they are a minority who lose more power and influence every day.

They know they are in the minority and that's what terrifies them. They are afraid they will be treated the same way they treated other minorities.
