I feel like this deserves a separate topic.
What will be the plan for the DNC?
How will this all shake out?

Small donors are a good indicator of voting, even better than polling. Every one of those donors will vote for Harris if she's on the ballot.More than $5 million per hour with these estimates...
$27.5 million raised in the first five hours.
In other words, those elites need to get in line.
Because MAGA likes to invoke God

I like the flat tax idea on the surface but would like to see more info. The 1% pay half of all federal income tax. The top 10% pay 2/3rds of all federal income tax. How much more do you want them to pay? Honest question. Should the top 10 pay 100% of the taxes and the lower 90 pay none?
This is why a flat tax is the only way at to revamp it all.
The biggest resistance to a flat tax comes from the upper 20% income bracket. That means they are paying less of percentage of their income in taxes now, than they would with a flat tax. Warren Buffet has repeatedly said for years that his secretary pays a higher percentage of her income in taxes than he does.I like the flat tax idea on the surface but would like to see more info.
Merge doesn’t work on this board, at least not very well. Maybe just start a new thread for the General? One thing I've realized with the double/triple reporting, we need to merge threads...
Democratic leadership on Capitol Hill is currently not weighing in on whether Vice President Kamala Harris should be the party’s presidential nominee to avoid the appearance that they are forcing her candidacy onto the voters too quickly, according to two sources familiar with their thinking.

Hoping this is true:

Last I saw a few years ago, the top 20% has over 80% of all wealth. It's completely inverted vs the population. It's dumb. It's always been dumb. There is a reason no one does it.
What he isn't talking about is wealth distrubtion. The top 1% have 30% of the wealth. The top 10% have 66% of all wealth.
Krodwhodat would want the bottom 1/3 of wealth to pay more. Why?
This is for a different thread, but I can give a bunch of reasons why income inequality is bad for democracy.
Historically this trend cannot continue. It leads to very bad things happening.Last I saw a few years ago, the top 20% has over 80% of all wealth. It's completely inverted vs the population.
