Assassination attempt on Trump (2 Viewers)

Crosshairs depict a rifle scope being aimed at someone to kill. If someone is in cross hairs they have a rifle pointed at them.

Bullseye talk depicts target practice, something not intended to kill, intended to develop skill. A bullseye doesn't imply that a rifle is present, much less is being aimed at someone.
I always think of darts when I hear bullseye.

30 minutes is nuts. That said, I'd like more of the story because that makes no sense. The only thing I can think of may be that because they only considered him a suspicious person and not a threat they didn't notify the SS until they realized he was actually a threat.
They really, really, really, do not wish to shoot a kid who is only trying to get a glimpse of his hero. Someone who couldn't get into the rally, but could climb up the side of a building.

Until he lifted the rifle so that they could see it, or he took a shot showing them his intent, they couldn't just shoot him.

I’m still trying to wrap my head around why a registered Republican would attempt to assassinate his party’s candidate. It doesn’t make sense, so I hope that we can get to the bottom of that.
Here's the head wrap, to wrap around your head.

That never Criminal movement within your party, and add to that someone who's disturbed in a serious clinical way. And who has a Libertarian/Republican dad, who has an AR-15 he could use to get his hands on that carbine. .

I sure would hate to be his dad right now.

Let's word this a diffirent way for you:

Why should a single Democrat on the board care that you want to police ONLY Democrat messaging in response to a Republican on Republican asssination attempt?
    Who almost got assassinated?

What that has been insinuated here is that somehow Trump is to blame for his own assassination attempt.

I don't know how much of a republican he is. CNN reported he was a registered republican but he donated to some left leaning group the day after Biden's inauguration.

Based on interviews from a couple of his former classmates, he sounds like a lot of the school shooters. He was a loner. Bullied. Didn't have any friends. Wasn't allowed on the school's sharp shooting team but he was a member of a rifle club that shot at targets 180 yards away.

Oddly enough, one report said both of his parents are therapists. If it was his dad's gun I hope he faces consequences for allowing him to have access to it. Keep doing that and eventually people will start securing their guns.

Several of those fellow student comments also said he was conservative in his views.

I want to use the laughing emoji for this response (as I think you meant for this comment to be funny), however given the victims in the Uvalde shooting I couldn’t.
i wasn't trying to be funny, the break down in police doing their jobs in Uvalde caused a lot of deaths, and this break down by police here so far caused one persons death and almost caused Trump his death.
but like i said, the right does not like to blame the police because it makes them look bad. that's why they are spreading conspiracy theories and "alternative facts" to make it seem like it falls only on the secret service and somehow Biden...

Has it crossed anyone's mind that the policeman might have been instructed under orders to climb that ladder, to take a quick peek to see what that kid was doing up there, and then come back down to make a report to a commander who was somewhere else.

He would have needed to report to the commander, then the commander to the sniper nest on that other building to take that kid out. That would keep the commander in the loop on a sticky use of force situation. A good commander would insist on that.

That's what I would expect happened. The policeman certainly wasn't a coward, afterall he did climb that ladder knowing that fellow was up there, worried that he had a gun, and he did report when he got back down.

The sniper's nest got the command to shoot.

sometimes people are crazy, have mental issues, etc . do you think someone would never try to assassinate a president because they were love with Jody Foster?

also, are you saying every Republican is pro Trump? are you saying there aren't Republicans against Trump groups? are you saying they don't exist.. smh.. you are really blind..

I really don't think the donation it relevant...yet. There's too many reasons that could have happened. I don't really care if he was D or R, my suspicion is it wasn't anything political. Curious if he left a note behind or something.

Yeah, all of this is why I think it might not have been politically motivated. Maybe he had other issues.

I mean, who knows? Maybe a friend or better yet, a bully, who likes Trump pissed him off and he decided this would be how he retaliates. Idk.

That's interesting. And there have been reports that it's apparently his dad's gun. His son is an adult though, so I'm not sure they can charge the dad with anything, as much as I'd want that.

People really, really need to secure their guns. And most gun owners do, but entirely too many don't.
