I was looking for a place to put this so we could discuss but didn't really find a place that worked so I created this thread so we can all place articles, experiences, videos and examples of racism in the USA.

This is one that happened this week. The lady even called and filed a complaint on the officer. This officer also chose to wear the body cam (apparently, LA doesn't require this yet). This exchange wasn't necessarily racist IMO until she started with the "mexican racist...you will never be white, like you want" garbage. That is when it turned racist IMO

All the murderer and other insults, I think are just a by product of CRT and ACAB rhetoric that is very common on the radical left and sadly is being brought to mainstream in this country.

Another point that I think is worth mentioning is she is a teacher and the sense of entitlement she feels is mind blowing.

Not really a surprise. They also think it is entirely too difficult for black and brown people to figure out how to obtain an ID to vote.
So you're saying systemic racism doesn't exist, but it was created by Democrats?

Farb... don't. You're better than this kook.
    What do you mean?
I can't bring up the fact that Dems always say their stance against voter ID laws are the fact that black and brown people don't have the 'means' to get a valid ID? How is that a bad look? Is that not what the SPLC says?

Remember Jim Crow 2.0? It turns out that it was all BS.

Early voting began in Georgia this week, and the birthplace of “Jim Crow 2.0” is smashing turnout records. Democrats, the media and corporate America can address their letters of apology to the GOP-controlled statehouse.

By Tuesday evening, the end of Georgia’s second day of early voting, more than 291,700 people had voted either in person or absentee. That marked a 75.3% increase over the same moment in the 2018 midterm and a 3.3% rise from the second day of early voting in the 2020 presidential election. Midterms rarely match the enthusiasm of presidential contests.

President Biden told voters in Atlanta in January that Georgia’s election rules would “suppress your vote, to subvert our elections.” The state’s “Jim Crow 2.0” law was “insidious,” he said, urging his followers to “hate evil.” The solution, which congressional Democrats were then proposing, was a federal takeover of elections, which he said would be a victory of “democracy over autocracy, light over shadow, justice over injustice.”

Have you ever tried to get an ID/license in Louisiana? Takes pretty much a whole day of waiting at an OMV! Perhaps no-so-coincidentally, the urban area branches are woefully understaffed whereas the rural parishes are a lot faster.

Hell, they closed down a bunch of rural DMVs in Alabama right around the time voter ID laws got stricter. Funny how that works.

Exactly last time I did it on a planned visit to a friend that lives on the Northshore. Five hours if you get there before they open or less than twenty minutes elsewhere.

So the guy with two jobs and a side hustle or two how is that gonna happen? What about the little old lady that doesn't drive? Two busses to the office wait all day then get home after dark?

Fortunately I live near the one in Lakeview. I got there first thing, got a number, averaged how fast they were going... left... came back six hours later... and then waited another thirty or so minutes before my number was called.

The fact that people are managing to vote doesn’t mean that Rs didn’t make it harder. This is really elementary logic. Rs in Georgia admitted they were trying to suppress voter turnout. They said it out loud (at least one election official did). Your position is illogical.

Democrats are turning out in those numbers in SPITE of the Rs trying to supress. It is having the opposite effect than they thought it would. But we all know as soon as the election is over EVERY single loss that the Rs receieve, will blame voting fraud. EVERY SINGLE ONE. I'll come back and eat crow if i am wrong.. Anyone want to bet against me on this? @SaintForLife ?

    Not so fast.

This is from Conservapedia, and I may have to agree:

Systemic racism is a phenomena that exists in many large American cities and police departments that have been controlled by Democrat mayors and city councils since passage of the Civil Rights Acts of 1964 and 1965. After passage of the Biden Amendment in 1975 repealing sections of the Civil Rights Act,[2] systemic racism flourished in Democrat strongholds.

This looks like it's saying that democrats are the architects of systemic racism which I found a little surprising. But then, when you think about how democrats love to project on Republicans, it began to make sense.
I just wanted to juxtapose Conservapedia's definition of Systematic racism to that of what was mentioned above. Notice any difference?

systemic racism, is a form of racism that is embedded in the laws and regulations of a society or an organization. It manifests as discrimination in areas such as criminal justice, employment, housing, health care, education, and political representation

You need to be more specific. What's your point?
I think it's pretty obvious to anyone with a modicum of objectivity but since you didn't see it....

One gives the definition without any added political dialogue while the other adds a spin for which the only goal is to disparage or lay blame at the feet of one political party in favor of the other.

    Credibility completely gone.

One is propaganda and one is not. It’s very simple, great job pointing it out.

I'm sorry, but Republicans have almost zero history of racism. All that systemic shirt started with the democrats, and it's STILL here!

Where the Republicans have failed is wiping that shirt completely out. We need to stamp out welfare legacies and free disadvantaged minorities from their democrat slum lords.

That didn’t address his point, like at all. Are you capable of seeing the difference between a completely biased point and a factual definition? Or naw?
