I was looking for a place to put this so we could discuss but didn't really find a place that worked so I created this thread so we can all place articles, experiences, videos and examples of racism in the USA.

This is one that happened this week. The lady even called and filed a complaint on the officer. This officer also chose to wear the body cam (apparently, LA doesn't require this yet). This exchange wasn't necessarily racist IMO until she started with the "mexican racist...you will never be white, like you want" garbage. That is when it turned racist IMO

All the murderer and other insults, I think are just a by product of CRT and ACAB rhetoric that is very common on the radical left and sadly is being brought to mainstream in this country.

Another point that I think is worth mentioning is she is a teacher and the sense of entitlement she feels is mind blowing.

You are saying that the RNC is soft on crime while the DNC is tough on crime? That is what you are saying.

What would you say is the political leaning of Jacksonville? It is liberal. There is your answer.
But before, it mattered which party was mayor. Now you just decide that the “political leaning” is liberal and that’s what matters. Those goalposts must get heavy. It’s sort of comical actually.

I think, and he can speak for himself, but my impression is that what is being said is that there isn’t much relationship between the party in power and crime. You will find R states and cities with high crime and the other way around. It’s more of a national trend and sorry that doesn’t fit your narrative. It’s so much better for conversation, though, if we could talk about actual issues instead of you forcing a political talking point that flies in the face of the facts.

Do you honestly think that Democrats are “for” crime, as one R politician said? It’s pretty weak-minded, IMO, to believe something that stupid, so I sure hope you don’t believe that. People like MTG are counting on folks believing this claptrap, though. It’s meant to appeal to folks who don’t really base their ideas on reality.

I'm not saying that. Facts, statistics and numbers are. I just asked questions you aren't able to answer because they don't fit into your prescribed narrative on crime.

I don't know, I've never been to Jacksonville. But they have a Republican mayor, which according to you is supposed to make everybody safer.

So you are saying there are no other black people out there that see through the sham of BLM/CRT/Gender theory?

And, in your opinion, this might actually make you type your thoughts instead of just linking articles and quips, why would those blacks have such a different view from from what the left wants blacks to think like?

I am assuming you are black, I might be wrong as I don't know.
You are just wrong, period. About everything. Poor, put upon white boy.

Please explain CRT. Then list any elementary school or high school where it was taught.

Please explain BLM including the basis for its creation.

    Please explain gender theory.

No, [MOD EDIT :nono: Name Calling] The DNC and the RNC are not law enforcement nor do they make law.

Your understanding of policing is as wrong as every other thing you type.

They're looking for the "IF racism exists, it's against white people" viewpoint

And when these viewpoints are offered on air the clips are later and gleefully posted, retweeted, shared all over the internet (including a certain NFL team political spin off board) as a real AHA! moment, "You see! YOU SEE!!!! Look at what this ONE black person says! How can racism be real when this ONE black person says it isn't. I win!"
Candace Owens compared the plight of segregated Black Americans to that of “straight white males” in modern-day America.

Owens spoke at an event organized by Turning Point USA at Michigan State University alongside fellow pro-Trump commentator Charlie Kirk.

In a clip from the event circulating Twitter via Jason Campbell, Owens described just how hard it is to be a “straight white male” in today’s society.

“We’ve now somehow gotten into this society where people are pretending what we’re doing is equality and it’s not,” Owens said. “If we have ever achieved an equality in this country, then you wouldn’t blink if anybody says ‘Asian Lives Matter,’ no one blinks. ‘Black Lives Matter,’ no one blinks. But, ‘White Lives Matter.’ They fell apart. Right?”…….

I think Dems are for 'defund the police' unless that changed in the last 2 years and you will need to explain why it has, bail reform and criminal justice reform. Those things have proven to be toxic, especially together and that is what is causing the huge crime spike. Now if you want to try and blame it on racism or whatever, then go ahead. I really think the voters are catching on and getting tired of the constant shriek of all the 'isms'.

All of that to say the Reps are just as horrible but the one thing they have been better at then the Dems is the crime problems over the years but at this point, I don't trust them either.

How many recalls have you seen for mayors in the last few years? How many for DAs?

Name calling always shows the intelligence level. Have a good day my guy.

    BLM- racist
    Gender theory- sexual predators

Did I do that right for a 'poor put upon white boy'?

You are having a bad day obviously.

Question for the group though, is 'poor put upon white boy' a racial slur or no? For example, can I go around and call other a 'poor soft black boy'? and it be ok? I have a feeling one is fine and one would get me banned.

The defund the police movement has been over for years and Joe Biden rejected it immediately when it came up during his campaign. What I do think happened is that Rs saw an opportunity to pounce on it and they have successfully used it as a cudgel to beat up Ds ever since the minute it was uttered for the first time.

Rs don’t really care about crime. They say they do, but their answers are just making things worse. The inner city prison pipeline is real. Everyone knows that if you are a resident of a suburb and have a marijuana charge, you’re not going to jail. Hell, you will probably not even be arrested. But in the inner city kids are often arrested and jailed for small offenses and they lose their jobs and end up in prison most likely. And the state or local government has obscene contracts with for profit prisons that sometimes guarantee them a certain number of prisoners. They get them from the inner cities, where people are pretty much powerless. They sure aren’t getting them from the suburbs. It’s a bunch of unintended consequences that have made things much worse than they need to be. Getting tough on small crimes plus privatizing prisons so their political donors can make a buck.

True bail reform, as I understand it, won’t affect violent crimes at all. It’s designed to make it so that the inner city person held on a minor drug charge or other non-violent crime, can get out without having to put up bail so they don’t lose their job. They can keep their job, as long as they can, and it maybe won‘t start a downward spiral into worse crimes. It’s meant for only non-violent crimes.

It’s just like CRT, BLM or other ideas that have been exaggerated, twisted, and used to fear-monger by Rs. They’re good at it. And they don’t have to even have solutions of their own, if they can just shoot down everything the Ds want to try and make their constituents afraid of trying these things.

Actually, Biden called for an increase in police funding but you know farb, he likes to read from the book of stereotypes.

Does that count in your line of thinking?
Either something exists or it doesn't. Something that doesn't exist can not be a problem. Something can exist and not be a problem, so no, that does not count.
Umm. There are several examples of things that don’t exist that cause problems. Things don’t need to exist to cause a problem. The only requirement is for people to believe they exist.

To say bail reform and criminal justice reform are toxic makes no sense. Perhaps you think they let murderers out with $100 bails or something? Most of the bail reform initiatives I've seen are limited to non-violent offenders. Also 'defund the police' is only espoused by the far-left and many Democrats, including Biden, have said police need more funding.

Another example of systemic racism that leads to significant impacts for people of color. In predominantly white areas, ISPs tend to offer fast internet connections, while in "formerly redlined" areas that are predominantly people of color, ISPs often offer much slower internet connections. The kicker is that they offer these services for the exact same price, so people of color are asked to pay a much higher price per megabit.

Residents of neighborhoods offered the worst deals aren’t just being ripped off; they’re denied the ability to participate in remote learning, well-paying remote jobs, and even family connection and recreation—ubiquitous elements of modern life.

“It isn’t just about the provision of a better service. It’s about access to the tools people need to fully participate in our democratic system,” said Chad Marlow, senior policy counsel at the ACLU. “That is a far bigger deal and that’s what really worries me about what you’re finding.”

Yeah, transing kids, buring cities and being openly racist is something most normal poeple will not like. Funny strategy by the DNC. Also odd how the polls are showing more and more want the Rs to handle the crime issue since the D are doing such a great job! Lets see how it plays out in the mid-terms.....
