I was looking for a place to put this so we could discuss but didn't really find a place that worked so I created this thread so we can all place articles, experiences, videos and examples of racism in the USA.

This is one that happened this week. The lady even called and filed a complaint on the officer. This officer also chose to wear the body cam (apparently, LA doesn't require this yet). This exchange wasn't necessarily racist IMO until she started with the "mexican racist...you will never be white, like you want" garbage. That is when it turned racist IMO

All the murderer and other insults, I think are just a by product of CRT and ACAB rhetoric that is very common on the radical left and sadly is being brought to mainstream in this country.

Another point that I think is worth mentioning is she is a teacher and the sense of entitlement she feels is mind blowing.

I like to think that I can be educated no matter the setting. Learning about new people is informative. Depending upon the people it can be good or bad. But it usually is good.

Why is it worth noting that a 'female' officer took the white teen? Are they implying that there is a difference between male and female cops? If a white guy gets stopped by a female cop and a black guy gets pulled over by a male cop, that is racist now? That seems a little sexist, no?

Also, the white kid was able to talk with the female officer. We also don't know what was being said by both teens to the officers. Hopefully, they had their audio rolling along with video.

Your rationales are always so utterly consistent. Those kids were a real threat to the officers' safety weren't they. Oh my, might they have popped off? Certianly that's a roughing up offense worthy of escalation. Actually, we've seen both male and female cops murder unarmed black folk. Did that get past you?

As I said, it certainly doesn't look good but just because a police officer acts stupidly it doesn't automatically mean that officer is racist. It might, and in this case, it could very well be, but we don't know for sure, do we? I've watched this video several times looking for the moment where you can say, ok, this was racially motivated. The problem is it happens so fast that I haven't been able to come away with a definitive opinion.

I didn’t say the officer was racist, but it’s is definite proof of racial bias. Neither officer goes for the white kid with the same intensity that the one does for the black kid, who gets pinned AND cuffed, while the white kid gets sat down and then is allowed to get back up and move his arms around with no attention paid to him at all from either officer. The black kid did nothing to warrant the treatment he received — didn’t resist, didn’t fight back or struggle, didn’t mouth off. Now is it possible this was all a coincidence? Maybe, but very highly unlikely.

That's wonderful. Wonderful that you've been getting out and getting good and sunburned.

There's nothing more real than an American Indian wearing a sunburn. Or any one wearing a good proper sunburn.

Or, is it probable given the same circumstances with the same two police officers that it would happen with two white kids?

Now, I would have no problem with you, supposing you were the chief, proceeding as if this was racial bias. However, I say you and I as citizens who don't know the officers can't say that for sure. If I was the chief I would certainly want to know exactly why my officers reacted that way?

I certainly can say for sure. To me it is far more likely that it was bias than that it was happenstance that both officers kneeled on the black kid rather than the white one when neither did any form of resistance or gave any lip to the officers. So I am perfectly fine with making my conclusion.

Points taken, but my mind just keeps telling me we don't know for sure.
