I was looking for a place to put this so we could discuss but didn't really find a place that worked so I created this thread so we can all place articles, experiences, videos and examples of racism in the USA.

This is one that happened this week. The lady even called and filed a complaint on the officer. This officer also chose to wear the body cam (apparently, LA doesn't require this yet). This exchange wasn't necessarily racist IMO until she started with the "mexican racist...you will never be white, like you want" garbage. That is when it turned racist IMO

All the murderer and other insults, I think are just a by product of CRT and ACAB rhetoric that is very common on the radical left and sadly is being brought to mainstream in this country.

Another point that I think is worth mentioning is she is a teacher and the sense of entitlement she feels is mind blowing.

I love it that we can tell who Farb is listening to by his comments. “Is it even legal” and “it‘s unconstitutional” has been pilloried mercilessly by both the left and actual conservatives since it was first uttered. It is a truly, truly bad take.
Yes, filling a federal position based on race and sex is illegal.

Lol, you claiming it might be a crime says you care a lot, a whole lot.

You must have been particularly outraged then when Reagan did it, and Trump. Or even better yet, when we had over 200 years of filling all these positions with only white men. I’ll bet that really outraged you. Lol.

Seriously, I know I’ve been poking fun at you over this. But you’re smarter than to fall for the “it’s a crime” nonsense. At least I thought you were.

Show us a serious person who agrees that it would be illegal, if it is as you say.

Why did he have to announce he was going to be racist and pick a certain color and a certain sex? Why not just do it, he would have gotten the same amount of woke credit but he instead had to virtue signal and possibly commit a crime?

I could care less if he appoints a black lady or a trans Asain poly non binary lady man. I just think it is wrong to pre-appoint only on skin color and sex. This was not an uncommon stance not too long ago, but the left thinks it is ok to use racism to make up for past racism and there will be push back.

This is such a ridiculous take.

He announced it because that's how he secured the endorsement. That was part of it. Nothing illegal or even remotely racist about it.

If you're R candidate thinks it will win him votes to announce that he's only going to appointment white males to the SC opening, then let him do it and let's see how it goes. Nothing illegal about him making that announcement.

And the truth is, if you could step off of your soap box to see it, Republican candidates have been saying/ doing that for most of our history and all are. It used to be blatant, now it's just implied. Why else did Trump only appoint white people to the SC court? Because he committed to doing that even if he didn't say it directly. Where were your cries of racism then?

This could be a litmus test for judging your sources: if they are saying that Biden is doing something wrong or even illegal, they are too stupid or too corrupt to pay any attention to. I saw an R senator had tweeted out a criticism, and it didn’t go well for him.

This isn’t a “job opening”. Nobody can apply for this position. This is a presidential appointment, and the president is entitled to choose who he wants based on any criteria he wants.

What if Biden said the only person to be considered for this position is a white male? I have a feeling you guys will be saying something different.
Is it even legal for a federal position to say 'whites need not a apply-especially those pesky CIS white males'? I don't think it is.

In order to correct the racism of the past we have to be racist now? That is looney toons.
When you are accustomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression or something of that nature. It seems you are hung up on the fact that Biden feels like it's time there were a black female judge on the supreme court and indicated that is where he will look. I think you even stated that it wouldn't be a big deal if he had kept his feelings to himself and just made the nomination. That's a really superficial take on this.

I mean, it sounds like you don't have a problem with a black woman being nominated. You have a problem with Biden saying that's who he is going to nominate. On top of that, you are making the claim that it might be illegal, not because he's nominating a black woman, but because he said that's who he would nominate.

So was it illegal for trump to take a list of pre-selected candidates that were all white and state that those were the only people he would consider? I'll save you the time and tell you no, it wasn't illegal. My question is where were your cries of illegality when trump made his list? Where was your feigned indignation when trump's list was completely devoid of anyone not white?

Meanwhile, actual racism is emboldened more than we have seen for probably 20-30 years:

Just because a female (Barrett) is now down the pecking order in the victimhood Olympics doesn't change the fact that the president has said, over and over the he will not consider a white man, Hispanic man or a black man but only a black female is just wrong.
You all can laugh and screech all you want, but if you can't see a problem with that, then I am the one brainwashed I guess.

    LOLOLOL.

Biden has said no such thing. You're setting up a strawman.

All he's said is that for his first appointment (this one), that he would nominate a black female jurist. He did that because he made a political commitment which was key to him winning the presidency and because it's about time. There's nothing wrong with announcing that ahead of time much less illegal.

For his next SC appointment (we can only hope he has multiple appointments), all of those other groups of people (both male and female) are back on the table.

All of your bellyaching (and all of it on the right) just illustrates your discomfort and dismay with the ever evolving political power of minorities in this country.

    @Farb -

Biden promised Clyburn (D-SC) he would listen to him on any potential SC pick. Without his endorsement, Biden doesn’t win the SC primary, the D nomination and ultimately the Presidency.

So you can blame Jim Clyburn for putting his weight behind Joe Biden for President and getting us here but you cannot blame Biden for fulfilling the political promise that got him elected.

I'm pretty sure he's been made aware of this already - it's definitely been posted on this site - and still doesn't seem to care.
