The shopkeeper may have received a laptop and external drive from Hunter, or it may have been left by someone else. He illegally kept a copy of the contents of the drive. The shop owner now gives his illegal copy to Rudy and Bannon, who take it and hold on to it for months and months, adding material as they see fit. Once it is sufficiently close to the election, where they think it will damage Joe Biden, Rudy gives this bastageized copy of files to the NY Post, who breathlessly runs it without even investigating its origin at all. Everyone refuses to let any neutral parties check out these files. The FBI knows the contents don’t match what they have and suspect the origin of some of the information is Russian, so they warn legitimate news outfits about it. After the election is over the shop owner admits there is a lot of material in the NY Post files that wasn’t on his copy. And when WaPo gets the files they confirm that there is a lot of material that was added after the FBI took the hardware. Then CBS gets a copy from the shop owner’s lawyer (who is being sued by Hunter) which doesn’t contain the Rudy/Bannon disinformation and lo and behold - it doesn’t implicate Joe Biden.

So basically what we have is a mess and a lot of people - Rudy, Bannon, Stone, and the shop owner (who has made conflicting statements) - are lying about it. NY Post is in on it, with their usual lack of journalistic integrity. I’m not sure who all Hunter is suing, but I really really hope it gets to discovery. I think Rudy and Bannon and Stone all are as dirty as they can be and need to go to prison for a long, long time, for this attempt to influence a presidential election with foreign disinformation, and other things.

If the FBI took possession of the laptop in December 2019 and the NY Post's initial reporting on the laptop was in October 2020, is it possible that what was delivered to the NY Post was not 100% accurate, given that it was a copy that spent many months in unknown hands?

I see you are purposely conflating two separate issues to act as if I said those former FBI agents violated anyone's 1st ammendment rights.

The former FBI agents at the Aspen Institute exercise that practiced pre-bunking the Hunter Biden laptop story, before it was ever mentioned publicly.

How do you think those former FBI agents knew enough about the Hunter Biden laptop story to label the exercise "The Burisma Leak" before it was ever mentioned publicly?

They obviously got tipped off by the Biden Administration or someone in the FBI that they had Hunter's laptop.

It's quite obvious the most recent charges(all which you said never happened lol) avoided anything linking President Biden.

What Comer was referring to was thinking that indicting him again now would prevent him from having to testify to Congress. I'm not sure if that's accurate.

They let the most serious tax evasion charges statue of limitations lapse in regards to the payments from Burisma in 2014. The whistleblowers said they were stonewalled on those charges by the DOJ who were looking to reject any charges against Hunter until they got busted trying to sneak in immunity agreement.

They didn't charge him with the obvious FARA violations he committed. All of that allows Weiss to avoid any subjects that might link to President Biden. The same guy that Hunter said he has to give half of his salary to. 10% for the big guy.

Can you tell me why the GOP won’t let Hunter testify in a public hearing? And don’t bother giving the excuse that Comer gave, because it is obviously a lie. (He said it was because the Democrats would disrupt the hearing.) There are rules in these hearings and nobody can break the rules without the help of the GOP Chairman.

Comer wants Hunter to testify behind closed doors so he can go out after and lie about what was said. I know this because he’s been doing it all along.
