Looks like the fight is on with Israeli soldiers and civilians amongst the dead already. Question becomes, how long before we get dragged into this?

Yes, but the tweet seems to imply we're actively doing this, and that's clearly not true.
Perhaps it implies that to you, however that’s not how I received it.
Is there more to the article than I am seeing? Because it doesn’t point out anything. It equivocates.
It doesn’t point out anything? That’s on you then.

    Context matters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Indeed I did...in response to the post of Greenblatt's allegation of MSNBC's personalities describing Hamas as fighters.

Like you I wouldn’t call Hamas “fighters”, hell I have a hard time accepting them as humans. fork them and their supporters.

    Provide an example.

Provide an example of what? One of us calling those sub humans “fighters”? Or, provide proof of their supports? I certainly hope we don’t have any of those on this board.
Your post claimed that I support Hamas. I find it just as easy to call a terrorist a terrorist as I can recognize a trash post.

I didn’t claim that you support Hamas. I said that, “like you I wouldn’t call them “fighters”.”

I don’t think either of us support Hamas (I’m 100% certain that I don’t). Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

OK...When and where have I labeled them anything than what they are and that is a mindless terrorist group?

You never did, why do you think I am implying that?

The post that I responded to never made any accusation that you called them “fighters”. My accusation was that we (you and I) wouldn’t call Hamas “fighters”.

How long will Israel have before the international community says stop because this is going to get really bad when the ground war begins? It's bad enough already. Hospitals are going through weeks of supplies in days. People in Gaza are afraid to leave their homes. 1000s have already been killed and wounded. Yet, I understand both Israel's position and Gaza's panic. It's just horrific all the way around.

    Israeli's apparent anti-terrorism brigade.

    Givati Brigade

Givati soldiers were the first to use the MTAR-21 Tavor assault rifle. They're in charge of combating terrorism in the Gaza Strip area, along with other forces. In January 2005, the Chief of the General Staff honored Givati’s reconnaissance battalion with a Medal of Distinguished Service for its work in Gaza.

As one of the first infantry brigades created, the Givati Brigade participated in many battles during the War of Independence. It was dismantled in 1956, only to be re-established as a reserves brigade. The active-duty brigade was re-established in 1983 during the First Lebanon War.

The brigade was stationed interchangeably at the Lebanon border and in the Gaza Strip. After the withdrawal from Lebanon in 2000, the brigade was declared part of the Southern Command and stationed in the Gaza Strip region. The brigade has participated in many anti-terrorist operations. Since then, the brigade has been stationed at each of Israel's borders and in Judea and Samaria.

A few facts about the brigade:

    • The beret color was chosen by the daughter of the brigade’s first commander, Colonel Yehuda Duvdevan, whose favorite color was purple.
    • The beret march was originally 84 km (52 mi) long, the same as the brigade’s number.
    • The youngest battalion of the three, the Rotem Battalion, began as a religious company. It’s considered an ultra-orthodox male combat unit and is completely separated from women.
Battalions of the Givati Brigade: Shakked Battalion (424th), Tsavar Battalion (432th), Rotem Battalion (435th), Reconnaissance Battalion (846th)

The article is six sentences. It uses qualifiers like “some people are saying” and “they said” without ever identifying who “they” is. Surely you have more media literacy than this, el? Surely?

Or maybe as long as it says what you want to believe, you just accept it as true? Could that be it?

Just say that you didn’t read the article.

And the war machine supporters will cheer while not every considering the death & destruction we are funding.
SFL: can you acknowledge that Russia benefits greatly from the barbaric Hamas attack?

Why, then, is it “pathological” to speculate that Russia may have been involved?

I'll say this much, they're not gonna let up until the hostages are returned. As long as Hamas is holding hostages, this is gonna keep getting worse.

Oh, my bad. Click the “read more” button in the article
Okay that is at least more information. Yes, US companies sell rifles to many countries. So we don’t know where these rifles came from, and the Afghanistan debacle is a much more likely source than Ukraine, IMO. In fact, the one they show a picture of was from Afghanistan. The other sources are an unnamed IDF officer who is worried but has no evidence and Marjorie Taylor Greene, who they take very seriously, evidently. 🤦‍♀️

    From the article:
“Other than US forces, the M-series guns are used by militaries across 80 countries in the world. There could be several points of leakages but nothing like Afghanistan where the Taliban is reported to have been trading in M16 and M4 guns. Only a thorough investigation, as suggested by Congresswoman Greene, can find out the exact source of the guns.”

Can the US government stop these corporations who manufacture the rifles from selling them to other countries? It doesn’t seem like something Rs would support. 🤷‍♀️
