I was looking for a place to put this so we could discuss but didn't really find a place that worked so I created this thread so we can all place articles, experiences, videos and examples of racism in the USA.

This is one that happened this week. The lady even called and filed a complaint on the officer. This officer also chose to wear the body cam (apparently, LA doesn't require this yet). This exchange wasn't necessarily racist IMO until she started with the "mexican racist...you will never be white, like you want" garbage. That is when it turned racist IMO

All the murderer and other insults, I think are just a by product of CRT and ACAB rhetoric that is very common on the radical left and sadly is being brought to mainstream in this country.

Another point that I think is worth mentioning is she is a teacher and the sense of entitlement she feels is mind blowing.

If someone on CNN would have said that the 4th was nothing but an excuse for rednecks to spend their welfare check on fireworks, get drunk on Busch lite and shoot guns in the trailer park, would you think that was a fair and accurate description of the 4th?

Or do you think the snowflakes like your heroes Marjorie Greene and Hannity would lose their underdeveloped, warped minds?
Do they not already say that about the 4th every year? They do and also give us a history lesson on the evils of them.

Did he have a comparable editorial about July 4th or Christmas on those day arguing we should do away with those holidays because people celebrate and drink? No? Why not if it's such a problem? Why Juneteenth?

Doesn't surprise me you don't see the racism even though it's all over his editorial.
Is it the 4th or Christmas yet? Pay attention around those holidays, there are plenty of negative coverage of what those holidays really mean and how they are celebrated.

In two weeks, let's revisit this post right here after the 4th of July and you come back and find a news video from CNN, MSNBC or Fox News with one of their anchors complaining about the 4th being nothing more than an excuse for excessive drinking, toting around guns, getting high on meth or cocaine and flying confederate flags. Post the video showing exclusively white people doing those things. We'll be back to see it so we can say that you were right. That's exactly what you are claiming happens on other holidays.

I've been watching news for a long time and I've NEVER seen ANYONE in the news media complain about July 4th, Labor Day, Memorial Day or even St Patrick's day not being needed or saying it should be ended because its nothing more than an excuse for ever negative stereotype that you can muster about white people and that's EXACTLY what you are claiming. This should be interesting.

You're missing the point. He's against having the holiday. When people warn us about drinking and driving on the 4th they aren't including the notion of closing down the holiday.

That might be so. He might be against the holiday because he is a racist. I will admit that is a possibility. I was making the point that just because someone criticize someone or something that happens to be historically a black culture thing, doesn't always mean 'racist'. Some observations are just observations that is not grounded in racism.

Unless this guy is on record saying at some point

"Memorial Day is supposed to honor soldiers who have died defending our country, but most people use it as an excuse to get drunk and high"

"4th of July is supposed to celebrate the founding of our great nation but most people use it as an excuse to get drunk and high"

"Arbor Day is supposed to recognize how sexy trees are but most people use it as an excuse to get drunk or high"

I'm going to assume that his 'observation' that Juneteenth is an excuse for black people to get drunk and high is absolutely a racist comment

Maybe this isn't racist at all either

BANGOR (BDN) -- A closed sign taped to the door of the Harry E Reed Insurance Agency in Millinocket Monday has raised the ire of local officials and residents for its racist messaging.

“Juneteenth ~it’s whatever We’re closed. Enjoy your fried chicken and collard greens,” the sign stated in a large font on a piece of white printer paper.

An image of the sign has been shared across the internet since Monday, and the insurance agency has faced criticism on its Facebook page as well as in Yelp and Google reviews all calling out the note.

Monday marked the first time Maine celebrated Juneteenth as an official state holiday. Juneteenth is observed annually on June 19. Gov. Janet Mills signed the holiday into law last year, but it didn’t take effect until this year. It also became a federal holiday last year.

Lisa Groelly lives and works in Millinocket. When her friend first told her about the sign, she said she thought it was a joke. Then, she saw it.

“I was gobsmacked at the stupidity and sheer ignorance,” Groelly said............

That kind of proves my point. I don't know anyone who even knows when arbor day is. I have heard those sentiments about memorial day, but to be honest, not so much about the 4th.
If you want to think this dude is a racist, go ahead. I don't care. What he said was dumb. I just tend to give people the benefit of the doubt when it comes to stupidity vs malice.

Yeah, no, I think you called this one right. I would love to hear the excuse though, strictly for comical reason.

but wait, they didn't say they was racist. white people don't eat fried chicken and collard greens? I think thats a big assumption on your part.
See, somone doesn't have to say they are racist or use derogatory terms for people to be able to see they are racist..

Did you real the title of the article or the article? Yeah, it was called racist. Do you not think that was a racist stereotype?

    And another one
    ==============

A sausage maker in Redmond, Oregon is facing criticism after using social media to criticize the Juneteenth holiday.

A post to the We’re The Würst Facebook page on June 14 said that the Juneteenth is not “some arbitrary moment that Texas slaves understood freedom.”

Instead, the post said, “t is a national holiday to excuse the anarchy that took place and the lack of law and order that is now common place. … #Juneteenth is a federal holiday that celebrates the moral decay and corrosion of our country, under the guise of #equality.”........

After We’re The Würst’s Facebook post made rounds on social media, customers and clients began calling out the business.

“Nothing like lecturing on history and getting your history totally wrong,” one Facebook user commented on the original post. “But thanks for self-identifying. You never have to worry about selling anything to me.”

Some businesses are even cutting ties with the shop.

Monkless Belgian Ales, located in Bend, Oregon, commented on Reddit on June 19 that the sausage maker’s views and values are not aligned with their own.

“We are managing the issue and taking this situation very seriously. Please be patient with us as we source new product and reprint our menus,” the comment says.

Bend Grocery Outlet also pulled the shop’s products, stating in an email about a Reddit post that they “were made aware of the [We’re the Würst] post this morning and have already pulled all of his products. We do not condone that type of behavior,” NewsChannel 21 reported.

When asked about the businesses pulling the shop’s products, Fidler told McClatchy News that “there are much bigger giants for me to throw stones at.”.........
