Exactly. No one is expecting Biden to win, but if Trump loses support from 2016, it could say something about where we might be going.

CNN does a good job of showing it by county. Suburban counties is where it is at.

Trump will obviously win Kentucky walking away. Will be interesting to see the margin in Indiana, though. Single-digits would be a fairly tepid showing for a Republican.

We also can watch the down ballot races in the early states to get an idea if the votes are all aligned or separated.

Indiana sucks. I live in a blue county and a blue neighborhood, but I only know three white, male, Democrats.

And Biden is currently leading in Pinellas County (St. Pete and Tampa suburbs). Trump won in the county in 2016.

It looks like there is almost zero 3rd party votes in FL 2020 and the 2016 3rd party voters are going Biden. With Pinellas at some 80%, that’s a flipped county.
