Speaker McCarthy opposes Boebert's move to force consideration. His reasoning: "Anytime you have something this serious, you don't just flippantly put something on the floor"

Translation: That nasty little biscuit went over my head to the people's representatives!

Republicans better make up their mind and pdq. Are they going to support the efforts to impeach a president who refuses to do his job, or are they going to join what will surely come to be called "Biden Republicans?"



Lesser known congressman Brian Fitzpatrick (R) Pennsylvania makes the point that was made by Reps during the Trump impeachment "We can't turn impeachment into the equivalent of a vote of no confidence like in the British parliament." No, we cannot. Literally, there is no danger of that under our constitution.

Both of those guys are about to put primary targets on their backs of they don't stop and think. If Speaker McCarthy doesn't like being usurped by a girl, he should pick up the torch himself and take the lead, which is his job in the first place.

Hunter Biden settled a child support case in Arkansas on Thursday with Lunden Roberts, the mother of one of his daughters, according to a filing in Arkansas state court.

Biden was ordered in 2020 to pay child support, though he was seeking to lower the payments to Roberts, who had his daughter Aug. 28, 2018. The child support amount was redacted from the Thursday agreement.

Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, will also have to continue reimbursing Roberts for the cost of health insurance for the child. He will also have to give the child multiple paintings, and the proceeds of any sales of the paintings will be wired to an account designated by Roberts, among other provisions in the settlement.

Her lawyer made a bad deal if Hunter only has to give the child the paintings. Yes, they sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars, but only because of who is selling them. If they are sold by a four year old who Hunter fathered but has fought so hard not to have to parent, nobody will pay those absurd prices for them. He should have to sell them himself to the same donors who bought his previous paintings and give the money to his child, so she can pay for all the therapy that children commonly need when daddy abandons them.

The problem with Impeachment In Congress, is it’s based on a premise that the Congress is composed of honorable people who will call out and take action on violation of rules and roles or for being inherently corrupt and lawless, against people like Mr Trump, not use it as a political tool to remove adversaries who are messing up your plans to take the country down.

The GOP already is in their lieing groove using disinformation as a weapon, kind of like having our own domestic Russians undermining the Nation. So make up some shirt and get the majority to vote for it and then they can turn to the Koolaid drinkers and say see he’s just as bad as The Head Liar.

The second impeachment was unique in that Trump was impeached for something that other people did, the January 6th riot, and that the House conducted a lengthy prime time impeachment hearing after the impeachment had already failed in the Senate.

Biden's impeachment is revenge for the Trump impeachment. It is kind of amazing that Bobo was able to force the issue to the floor, when most Republicans are so reluctant. Now, it will snowball, with more and more of the Hunter-Joe collusion coming to light.

Impeachments of both Garland and Wray would be entirely appropriate and much more effective. Impeaching Biden will do nothing. He was selected as a bumbling fool who could be easily controlled. Putting Harris in the WH will not change that.
