I think Trump's Project 2025 needs it's own thread to make as many people as possible aware of it, how Trump and the people he's surrounded himself with are dead serious about making it happen, and how devastating it will be if we allow Trump to make it happen. These are the various pages on his website which should show Trump means business. Trump's not just wishing or theorizing, he's planning and implementing.

Trump and his minion's home page (the bolding is their's, not mine):

"It is not enough for conservatives to win elections. If we are going to rescue the country from the grip of the radical Left, we need both a governing agenda and the right people in place, ready to carry this agenda out on Day One of the next conservative Administration.
This is the goal of the 2025 Presidential Transition Project. The project will build on four pillars that will, collectively, pave the way for an effective conservative Administration."

    Trump's policy agenda page:

"This book is an invitation for you the reader—Mr. Smith, Mrs. Smith, and Ms. Smith—to come to Washington or support those who can. Our goal is to assemble an army of aligned, vetted, trained, and prepared conservatives to go to work on Day One to deconstruct the Administrative State.
    ...
The next conservative President will enter office on January 20, 2025, with a simple choice: greatness or failure. It will be a daunting test, but no more so than every other generation of Americans has faced and passed. The Conservative Promise represents the best effort of the conservative movement in 2023—and the next conservative President’s last opportunity to save our republic."

Trump's personnel (recruitment/application) page, bolding is mine:

"Please fill out the questionnaire below and upload your resume for inclusion in the Presidential Personnel Database if you would like to be considered for positions in a presidential Administration.
Project 2025 is the effort of a massive coalition of conservative organizations that have come together to ensure a successful Administration begins in January 2025. With the right conservative policy recommendations and properly vetted and trained personnel to implement them, we will take back our government. Project 2025 is being organized by The Heritage Foundation."

    Trump's training page:

"The Presidential Administration Academy is a one-of-a-kind educational and skill-building program designed to prepare and equip future political appointees now to be ready on Day One of the next conservative Administration. This academy provides aspiring appointees with the insight, background knowledge, and expertise in governance to immediately begin rolling back destructive policy and advancing conservative ideas in the federal government."

Trump's first 180 days playbook page:

"The time is short, and conservatives need a plan. The project will create a playbook of actions to be taken in the first 180 days of the new Administration to bring quick relief to Americans suffering from the Left’s devastating policies."

Trump's playbook, bolding mine (I've downloaded the pdf of their playbook for when Trump eventually pulls it from his website once the backlash really kicks in):

"This book is an invitation for you the reader—Mr. Smith, Mrs. Smith, and Ms. Smith—to come to Washington or support those who can. Our goal is to assemble an army of aligned, vetted, trained, and prepared conservatives to go to work on Day One to deconstruct the Administrative State.
    ...
This is an agenda prepared by and for conservatives who will be ready on Day One of the next Administration to save our country. The Heritage Foundation is once again facilitating this work, but as our dozens of partners and hundreds of authors will attest, this book is the work of the entire conservative movement.
    ...
The next conservative President will enter office on January 20, 2025 ... The Conservative Promise represents the best effort of the conservative movement in 2023—and the next conservative President’s last opportunity to save our republic."

The link to the 111 groups Trump and his minions have cobbled together in a coalition to help Trump achieve his agenda.

    Groups include:
    • ALEC - the Koch brother's foundation that has written all of the state laws that undermine child labor protection, worker's rights, air and water pollution protections, voter's rights, government assistance programs from those that need the help, and tax codes that made sure the wealthy pay their fair share of taxes.
    • Moms For Liberty - the group leading the charge to ban any book that treats anyone, who is not white, heterosexual, cis and Christian, as being equal and deserving of acceptance, tolerance and respect.
    • National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation - which works for corporations to prevent and bust worker's unions to help corporations pay a non living wage to employees and force them to work under horrible conditions.
    • Tea Party Patriots - the group that is MAGA and has taken control of the Republican party and supports Trump's efforts to stage a coup on Jan 6th so that he could stay in power even though he lost the election.
    • Turning Point USA - run by Charlie Kirk who fully embraces Christian Nationalism and the reducing of women to just being homemakers dedicated only to serving their husbands and their family, in that order

Here are some articles and videos that give an overview of what Trump's Project 2025 plans to do if Trump wins the presidency:

The Heritage Foundation cooked up this plan during the Reagan administration, but Reagan didn't let the Heritage Foundation fully implement it. Trump has claimed it for himself and has made it his plan, because it plays into the ultimate power and control that Trump wants. See the videos below.

No matter how annoying, frustrating, distasteful, or unappealing it may be, either Biden or Trump will be the next president. No one else has a chance at winning the election. If Biden wins, we have issues to solve, but we still have our democracy.

If Trump wins, we lose our democracy and have to fight for our freedom, if we aren't white, Christian, cis, heterosexual men who believe in the divine right of white, Christian, cis, heterosexual men to sit in domination over all others.

The bottom line is this, vote for Biden if you want to preserve our democracy, or don't vote for Biden if you want to chance Trump winning, which would bring an end to our democracy.

That's the grounded-in-reality choice folks, like it or not. Please vote for Biden so that we all have the freedom to live our lives how we want, to argue with each other, and to protest without fear of being imprisoned or "falling" out of window to our death.

This election is not a drill, it's the real deal.

How many families would be rendered ‘invalid’ by these guys if they get into power?

    Project 2025
    Page 451

“The only valid family is a working father married to a stay-at-home mother and their children.”

It just couldn’t be more clear that Trump must never see the WH again. Nor any of his minions who are just itching to establish an American Taliban.

Just out of curiosity is there also a plan to ensure that all these valid and manly breadwinners can support a household with a stay at home wife and X children on a single paycheck?

In 2021, Liz and Gabe Rutan-Ram decided to take the next step toward growing their family and applied to foster a child.

After identifying a three-year-old in Florida who they hoped to ultimately adopt, the Rutan-Rams turned back to their home state of Tennessee to start training to become foster parents.

But their plans quickly fell apart when the Christian state-funded foster care placement agency informed them by email that they “only provide adoption services to prospective adoptive families that share our belief system”. The Rutan-Rams, who are Jewish, were out of luck.

“There’s already emotions playing into wanting to be a parent, and then to have us attacked personally just made it that much harder,” Liz Rutan-Ram told the Guardian.

The Rutan-Rams sued the Tennessee department of children’s services, arguing that a state law permitting private agencies to refuse to work with prospective parents on religious grounds violates the Tennessee constitution’s equal protection and religious freedom guarantees. The case will soon go to trial.

The predicament facing the Rutan-Rams could become more common under a second Trump administration. Project 2025, a 900-plus page blueprint for the next Republican administration and the policy brainchild of the conservative Heritage Foundation, contains an explicitly sympathetic view toward “faith-based adoption agencies” like the one that rejected the Rutan-Rams, who are “under threat from lawsuits” because of the agencies’ religious beliefs.

Project 2025’s Adoption Reform section calls for the passage of legislation to ensure providers “cannot be subjected to discrimination for providing adoption and foster care services based on their beliefs about marriage”.

It also calls for the repeal of an Obama-era regulation that prohibits discrimination against prospective parents and subsequent amendments made by the Biden administration…….

The Republican senator and vice-presidential nominee JD Vance has written the foreword to a forthcoming book by the head of Project 2025, the vast rightwing plan for a second Trump administration Democrats say shows the authoritarian threat posed by the GOP – and which Donald Trump has tried to disavow.

In publicity material for the book, Vance says of Kevin Roberts, president of the Heritage Foundation: “Never before has a figure with [his] depth and stature within the American Right tried to articulate a genuinely new future for conservatism.”

The same publicity material describes Roberts as “head” of Project 2025.

Roberts’ book, Dawn’s Early Light: Taking Back Washington to Save America, will be published in September.…….

Fun fact: Roberts’ book, "Dawn’s Early Light: Taking Back Washington to Save America" was originally titled "Burning Down Washington to Save America".

But of course it was. I wonder what that second title was the tamed down version of the first working title.

In light of the NORAD detection and interception of 2 Russian and 2 Chinese jets near Alaska today, a reminder that Trump’s Project 2025 would defund and disband NORAD and the National Weather Service. Really smart. 🙄

Adding more details, the Russians fly near Alaska just outside of US and Canadian airspace a lot. This is the first time Russians were accompanied by Chinese aircraft. They're both thumping their chests together and are likely to work themselves up into an overconfident frenzy. If Trump wins, they are going to start invading several countries and dare anyone to try to stop them.

I have absolutely no desire for heritage foundation influence in federal government. Damn little of project 2025 could get past Congress.

That being said project 2025 is being erroneously reported in a lot of instances.

It doesn’t call for the disbanding of the national weather service. Doesn’t even mention NORAD.

It also makes no mention of banning contraceptives. Nor a national abortion ban.

Heard of executive orders? Heard of a Republican majority in the House and Senate along with a majority of RWNJs on the SCOTUS and in the federal judiciary?

I have absolutely no desire for heritage foundation influence in federal government.
Too late for that, I would not be surprised to find that half the federal judgers have direct ties to the Foundation. We already know that they own SCOTUS and Congress.
Damn little of project 2025 could get past Congress.
That would change once Republicans gain control of congress.

Damn little of project 2025 could get past Congress.
That's false. There's nothing Congress can do to stop almost all of Trump's Project 2025, because Trump's Project 2025 is all based on executive powers based on the Supreme Court's rulings on executive powers.

The people who crafted Trump's Project 2025 plan for Trump, did it based on the assumption that Congress would be controlled by the Democrats. They crafted the plan in a way that specifically keeps Congress from being able to stop Trump's Project 2025 plans.

Name 3 specific things from Trump's Project 2025 that Congress has the power to stop.

Trump and his minions don't see to understand they lost all elements of surprise on Jan 6th, 2021. Not nearly enough people, who aren't already dedicated to Trump's regime, fall for the misdirection and deceptions anymore. They also don't seem to understand that their efforts are self-destructive for the Trump regime. I hope they never figure those two things out.

So you haven’t read the document.

    By way of illustration

“Congress must pass meaningful legislation to close the current loopholes and prevent future Administrations from exploiting them for political gain or per- sonal ideology. Legislative Proposals l Title 42 authority in Title 8. Create an authority akin to the Title 42 Public Health authority that has been used during the COVID-19 pandemic to expel illegal aliens across the border immediately when certain non- health conditions are met, such as loss of operational control of the border. l Mandatory appropriation for border wall system infrastructure. The monies appropriated would be used to fund the construction of additional border wall systems, technology, and personnel in strategic locations in accordance with the Border Security Improvement Plan (BSIP). l Appropriation for Port of Entry infrastructure. Border security is not addressed solely by systems in between the ports of entry. POEs require technology and physical upgrades as well as an influx of personnel to meet capacity demands and act as the literal gatekeepers for the country. This is the first line of defense against drug and human smuggling operations. — 148 — Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise l Unaccompanied minors 1. Congress should repeal Section 235 of the William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008 (TVPRA),9 which provides numerous immigration benefits to unaccompanied alien children and only encourages more parents to send their children across the border illegally and unaccompanied. These children too often become trafficking victims, which means that the TVPRA has failed.

Through out the document there is recognition of Congressional necessity.

Congress would be a necessity to abolish the Department of Education or any other legislatively established agency.

So Congress can stop by simple inaction.

Heritage Foundation are kinda constitutional nerds so it factors in to actions to promote project 2025, like using Congress for legislative action.

A lot of the document is as follows:

“— 133 — 5 DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY Ken Cuccinelli PRIMARY RECOMMENDATION Our primary recommendation is that the President pursue legislation to dis- mantle the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). After 20 years, it has not gelled into “One DHS.” Instead, its various components’ different missions have outweighed its decades-long attempt to function as one department, rendering the whole disjointed rather than cohesive. Breaking up the department along its mission lines would facilitate mission focus and provide opportunities to reduce overhead and achieve more limited government. In lieu of a status quo DHS, we recommend that: l U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) be combined with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE); U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS); the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR); and the Department of Justice (DOJ) Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) and Office of Immigration Litigation (OIL) into a stand- alone border and immigration agency at the Cabinet level (more than 100,000 employees, making it the third largest department measured by manpower). l The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) be moved to the Department of Transportation. — 134 — Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise l The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) be moved to the Department of the Interior or, if combined with CISA, to the Department of Transportation. l The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) be moved to DOJ and, in time of full-scale war (i.e., threatening the homeland), to the Department of Defense (DOD). Alternatively, USCG should be moved to DOD for all purposes. “

Note the part where it says “the President pursue legislation “.

There’s also a lot of executive orders too. That can be challenged in the courts.

This is business as usual. Usually it’s hidden in the background. This is bold and out there for all to see. With all the fine details. But dam few will read it. Most will just believe the misrepresentations. Like it abolishes contraceptives, calls for a national abortion ban, or like the above that calls for the dismantling of DHS but conveniently leaving out the associated details. there are a whole, whole lot of big issues and problems with it. But i prefer what is factual. So I’m actually reading it.

MISLEADING STATEMENT: Through out the document there is recognition of Congressional necessity.
HONEST TRUTH: There are mentions of legislative goals requiring Congressional assitance, but all of the actual actions of Trump's plan are based solely on executive authority. This is just a small sampling of how Trump plans to effectively abolish, though not technically, the Dept of Education without any assistance or oversight from Congress:

I can't post anymore screen captures so:

Move ED’s statistical office, the National Commission for Education Statistics (NCES), to the Department of Commerce’s Census Bureau.
The next Administration should completely reverse the student loan federalization of 2010.
Attorneys, accountants, experts, and specialists in the department’s remaining offices subject to closure, and whose positions are indispensable to serving the mission, should have the opportunity to join other agencies.
On its first day in office, the next Administration should signal its intent to enter the rulemaking process to restore the Trump Administration’s Title IX regulation, with the additional insistence that sex is properly understood as a fixed biological fact. Official notice-and-comment should be posted immediately.
The next Administration should continue the policy of the Trump Administration in this area and direct the department to conduct a comprehensive review of all Title VI cases to ascertain to what extent these cases include allegations of disparate impact.
Effective January 18, 2017, the department issued final regulations under Part B of IDEA that require states to consider race and ethnicity in the identification, placement, and discipline of students with disabilities. The new Administration should rescind this regulation. The next Administration should immediately commence rulemaking to rescind the Equity in IDEA regulation. No replacement regulation is required.
Phase Out Existing Income-Driven Repayment Plans - While income-driven repayment (IDR) of student loans is a superior approach relative to fixed payment plans…

That's not even a 1/10th of the damage Trump plans on inflicting on the Dept of Education to sabotage it's mission of providing equal education opportunities for all, not just for the privileged few. It goes on and on for pages.

The Dept of Education is just one of many departments that they have a detailed plan on how to sabotage their missions to serve all Americans equally.

Sendai is averse to the telling the whole truth every and any time they attempt to defend Trump.

One parting note, Trump's name appears 311 times in the 920 pages of Trump's Project 2025 plan that allegedly has nothing to do with Trump. That doesn't add up at all.

A lot of the document is as follows:
Sendai's post has a morsel of truth to it. But it is cherry picked and framed to give a misleading impression of Trump's project 2025 plan.

Notice the goal post moving and shifting defenses. First it was "not a serious plan at all." Then it was "not Trump's plan at all." Now it's "Trump can't do it without Congress anyhow."

I've shown in just my one post above that all of what Trump plans to do he can do without Congress. I'm not going to quote the whole 900+ pages to show everyone what I've already proven to be true with several quotes.

Don't let Sendai mislead you into believing that anything about Trump's Project 2025 plan is business as usual. Sendai wouldn't be posting his arse off if it was just business as usual. Sendai wouldn't be posting his arse off if Trump and they honestly believed it was no big deal. Trump and his minions know this is Trump's plan, they know he can and will do it if he wins, and they know that if Americans know what they know Trump loses. That's why Trump's minions are desperately trying to fool people into believing it's not big deal. They're hoping they can pull off a Sith mind trick on Americans.
