    The football board had the very useful Daily Trump Tracker thread, which was a good place to briefly discuss the latest ridiculous thing that might have ended 97% of prior Presidential administrations even if it didn't necessarily justify an entire thread devoted to it in 2017-2019 (because of the sheer volume of these things). Since I don't see anything like that here already, I'll add one myself.

    I disagree. 14 states joined an utterly ridiculous SCOTUS case. He's worshipped by millions. There will be streets, buildings, and an airport named after this dude in numerous red states. Bank on it.

    You're likely to see at least one town in Texas try to change its name to Trumpville or something equally stupid.

    I don't think at 6 I even knew what a president was much less who it was or why it mattered who it was and if it was anyone but Big Bird or Mr. Rogers why I would care

    And if I'm understanding right, her son is 6 now, which means he was 2 when this all started

    Why would anyone discuss national politics with a literal toddler? Sounds a bit fishy to me

    One mother's apparent social media post has some adults questioning her parenting skills, because she admitted to lying to her child about who has been president for the past four years.

    That's right: As far as this woman's child knows, President Donald Trump isn't in the White House right now, and he never took office.

    In a lengthy message originally posted in a Binders Group on Facebook, a woman claimed that she's led her 6-year-old son to believe that President Barack Obama is still president despite the fact that No. 44 hasn't been in office for nearly an entire presidential term. The message surfaced on Twitter on Saturday and caught the attention of liberals, conservatives and just plain concerned parents, many of whom feel that the mom was wrong for going through such length to keep the existence of Trump's presidency from her child.

    "It's still 2008 in my home. That is, my 6-year-old son assumes Obama is president, he knows Biden is president-elect, but he has no idea Trump exists—which is a deliberate parenting choice I made that spun aa little out of control over the past four years," the woman's post reads. "In 2016, I deliberately shifted the way my family consumes information.

    I swapped all of our print subscriptions for digital, keeping headlines far from the eyes of my curious son. During our morning commute, I changed the channel from NPR to indie music. We stopped watching TV news entirely."

    She then explains in the post: "I thought the election was a mistake that would soon be corrected, and I'd never have to tell my child about Trump until much later—but that didn't happen."

    The unidentified mother then goes on to admit that her "lie of omission" spiraled to a point where she couldn't figure out a way to clean it up with the truth. Despite keeping her child in the dark, she noted that "it's been nice" living in a household where "all of the noise and tweets and scandals don't exist."

    "It feels like I have some control in a chaotic world," the post reads..............

    So, I'd like to point out to all of the Trumpists who've been complaining about the DOJ not telling the public that they are investigating Hunter Biden that the SDNY didn't tell the public that they are investigating Rudy Giuliani, so it's a wash. And Trump still lost. They're free to leave the cult whenever they please.

    The thing I always point out is that the DOJ didn't tell the US that they were investigating Trump during the 2016 campaign either.
     
    Well, if Pat has called out the crazy then the fat lady has sung. No one knows ripping people off for cash, lying and two eating the truth and utterly out for yourself quite as well as this old geezer, all the way back to him and Tammy Faye on Pass the Loot years ago.

    The headlines on that site are awesome: Michelle Bachmann saying she feels she's being abused by Satan (how I wish it was true), how the military will turn into a transgender atheist army for the Antichrist, which makes Biden the Antichrist; how atheists will convert to Christianity once God allows Trump to overturn the election...

    On a side note, I wonder if they'd become atheists when God doesn't allow Trump to overturn the election :hihi:
