    The football board had the very useful Daily Trump Tracker thread, which was a good place to briefly discuss the latest ridiculous thing that might have ended 97% of prior Presidential administrations even if it didn't necessarily justify an entire thread devoted to it in 2017-2019 (because of the sheer volume of these things). Since I don't see anything like that here already, I'll add one myself.
     
    So, it looks like members of the press on the White House beat are starting to remember that they've got cujones and are asking Misinformation McEnany some questions that aren't all softballs. I guess they don't really care if Trump revokes their credentials this close to a new administration rolling in. I didn't hear what the question was (though it's obvious it's about Hunter Biden's emails or something related to that) that she was asked before her final reply at the podium. Credit to Acosta for asking this question even if it was while she was on her way out the door and couldn't/wouldn't be answering it. I would like to see someone ask it to her again next time there's a press briefing.

    I wouldn't be surprised if Trump himself gave the Russians the password. But, it seems that Solar Winds beat Trump to the stupid by having a password that was "Solarwinds1234".

    IIRC the Palm Beach city ordinance says nobody can stay more than X days a week there at Mar-a-Lago and only so many days a year. Even though Trump went over the "days a year", they were only allowing it because he was President. It was something to do with the legal paperwork of turning the building into a club since it was originally a house. I'd have to go digging through Google to find a link for it though. Maybe someone else knows what I'm talking about?
     
    If you read the wiki page on the Mar-a-lago, one can easily understand why the locals dislike Trump. He's been suing them from day one. If Biden has any balls, he'll have the FAA revert flight paths from the airport back over the club.
     
    I think there was some sort of advantage for Trump to turn it into a club, taxes, maybe? Of course he doesn’t intend to follow the rules after turning it into a club. He’s been flaunting rules and laws all his life.
     
    According to Business Insider (I don't know how credible their sources are, but it sounds logical), Trump is threatening to fire Jeffrey Rosen (Barr's replacement as of next week) if he doesn't appoint a Special Prosecutor to investigate Hunter Biden.

    From what I understand there are some pretty specific rules about when a Special Prosecutor can be appointed, and one of the requires the DOJ to determine that the current investigators have a potential conflict of interest. I'm not sure that they can meet that bar right now.

    Wait, this happened again? Last time, guy called the White House directly and told them of the problem. Secret Service actually called the guy and thanked him for letting them know. Now it's happened again?

    So there’s a somewhat silly story that Trump has sometimes said he will just refuse to leave the White House after Biden is sworn in. I think some charity could make a ton of money running the eviction as a PPV. 😁

    But, that made me think of a question. If Trump doesn’t attend the inauguration, and that does seem likely, how do they handle the nuclear case? It has to be with the President at all times, so if Trump goes to Florida (or somewhere else) to have his competing rally and announce his candidacy for 2024, how do they handle the case? Is there more than one? If not, how can it be by Trump’s side and then get to Biden as soon as he is sworn in? I know this is stupid, but I am curious.

    Iirc it's really with a military attaché and he will most likely stay in DC on the day of inauguration since the swearing in is basically the "show". The transition has begun and election over. Biden is Potus for all intents and purposes.
