    The football board had the very useful Daily Trump Tracker thread, which was a good place to briefly discuss the latest ridiculous thing that might have ended 97% of prior Presidential administrations even if it didn't necessarily justify an entire thread devoted to it in 2017-2019 (because of the sheer volume of these things). Since I don't see anything like that here already, I'll add one myself.

    I can see that. My theory was that he was shaking things up as a way of sending a message to Georgia somehow. But, idk. I think the benign theory makes the most sense. I'm sure he doesn't want the wrong people getting their hands on stuff that would make him look bad.

    He's been doing this thing for years, talking about the mastery of how Trump plays the media and the power of persuasion.

    He has some interesting points here and there, but it went from intellectual to usual con game most conservative thinkers have turned to. This faux skepticism has turned into a real money maker for the right.

    That would be only if he cared one bit about anything or anyone else but himself.

    The runoff in Georgia is the last thing on his mind.

    Well, there are rumors of him talking about running again in 24. If he does that, he'll need to show that he can get people to vote in GA. That's a self preservation thing because he'll do what he needs to to help his chances.

    But covering his butt seems to be what makes the most sense though.
