Oh, but he's only joking - well, maybe, so they say. Or sort of joking with Canada, and maybe not joking with Greenland - saying that "ownership and control of Greenland is an absolute necessity" doesn't sound like a joke . . . and um, not sure about what the about Panama Canal thing is?

Let's say that is true, what about all of the other lending? This isn't some type of gotcha. You can admit that the man knows how to make money for himself and his business partners. He also know how to negotiate as evident in him becoming the most powerful man in the world, twice.

Your friends won't call you MAGA for accepting this fact. It's ok to admit that he is far more financially successful than anyone posting on this board. And a better negotiator.
Gotcha lol - I see nothing positive in making money by breaking the law. But on the other hand - MAGAs seem totally ok with voting for a convicted fellon.

Thanks for the kind words. I responded with the Supreme Court as my first answer. I have a list if you want to converse honestly and politely. So far you are not very polite.
The Supreme Court appointments are not negotiations. So yeah, we are still waiting for a single example. No list needed. Just one.

They don't just give away money, they want more money back in return. Trump had no influence prior to 2016 and beyond 2020, yet he was still able to borrow money.
Well, they want something back in return, yes. Maybe you should try to imagine what they stand to gain.

As I stated prior to 2016 they only had profit to gain. After 2020 they only had profit to gain. I know its tough when you think about it all the way through and see that maybe the man has skills.

You're wrong again. Before 2015—when Russia began efforts to get Trump elected—they primarily used him for money laundering through his properties and businesses. Later, they realized how much leverage they had over him because of the significant debts he owed to Russian-backed entities, making it easy to influence his actions.

Trump still owes substantial amounts to these interests, so the question remains: how do you think this is going to play out now? His financial entanglements with foreign powers continue to pose a serious risk to U.S. interests.

Let me do some reading. What is the most credible source you have for this?

If he is such a bad business man and loses money on all of his deals, why would banks continue to lend him money? Is he that good of a negotiator that he tricks the most powerful finance institutions in the world to give him hundreds of millions of dollars?

    That doesn't equate does it?
They didn’t. Look it up. He was limited to Deutsche Bank because others kicked him to the curb and then his son admitted they were getting money from Russia. He is a lousy businessman.

Such a short-sighted post. Trump is a money launderer for Russian oligarchs, has been for decades. He’s a mob boss wannabe who has neither the brains nor the guts to actually BE like them. But he does have a weird ability to con people like you into thinking he’s what he most definitely is not.

His only skill is the con, but it definitely only works on gullible people.

    More recent

What was the outcome of this investigation? this was almost 2 years ago. What came of it? I am sure if it were proven, stories would be abundant. I can't find anything validating these claims. But I like to read, so send me your best source with the best info. This one fell very short of proving your point. The article actually said Trump was not involved in the day to day running of the media company and had no idea of any money influx. I mean 8 million isn't a bunch of money.

The second article ends with. We just know he is doing something wrong. We can't prove it but we know it. lol

You can Google it if you want. It’s obvious to me there wouldn’t be any proof that you would find acceptable. Not to mention that this investigation is probably dead in the water since he won the election. They probably dropped it in Nov, no sense spending any more money when it will never be charged.

Trump wasn’t involved in day-to-day is a lame excuse. Russians aren’t out there funding any media companies that aren’t tied to Trump, are they? But they jumped all over this one.

Jr. and Eric have both stated more than once that they get “all the money they need” from Russians.
They settled with the IRS for money-laundering issues with their casino, involving Russian money. The foreign policy article chronicles the way Trump became involved with organized crime money from Russia. (Russian oligarchs are essentially a mob.)

I did google and didn't find a finite end. I will happily read whatever you provide.

Didn't he get almost 200 million for his inauguration. You think 8 million buys a seat at the table?

I think anyone who kicks in significant money to him (significant as defined by his diseased brain) gets a seat at his corrupt table.

If you search for Al Capone’s crimes, all you get is tax evasion. Do you believe that is all he was guilty of? When you learn from the mafia how to cover your tracks, the evidence of crimes is usually circumstantial. Trump keeps his distance to protect himself, but he is a criminal, and he has demonstrated his affection for Putin and Russia. If you evaluate his actions objectively, it is obvious that he is guilty of many crimes, irrespective of the legal system’s failings.
