Gabbard has released a very lightly redacted classified report on Russian interference in 2016. It may compromise methods and means. And she admitted long ago that Russia interfered, as did Rubio, whose committee produced an entire report which largely confirms what Mueller found. IIRC the Senate report went further than Mueller in some areas.

Gabbard is a Russian asset now, so this is just wonderful that she has anything to do with our national security. 🤦‍♀️

The issue has not been whether or not Russian attempted to meddle or interfere. The issue has always been whether Trump colluded. That was what triggered the Mueller investigation.

Now the question is whether there was a credible basis for the Obama administration to launch an investigation into a Presidential Candidate based on what has been proven to be a unverified opposition report paid for by the Clinton campaign. There are other questions as to whether the FBI and certain key officials abused their power for political purposes.

Trump and Gabbard and Bondi, I think, are all saying that the idea that Russia interfered is false, made up by Obama and Biden, and Comey and whoever else they don’t like. This is straight up Russian propaganda, once again, being pushed by the usual suspects.

Of course Trump colluded. He did it out loud at a press conference, also he and his campaign accepted a meeting with someone calling themselves a Kremlin lawyer who said she had “dirt” on Clinton. His campaign manager had secret meetings with a Russian operative during the campaign. And look up Manafort’s ties to the Kremlin sometime, and he volunteered to work for Trump as his campaign manager for free. Nothing unusual about that.

The investigation wasn’t launched because of the Steele dossier. It was not given a huge amount of credibility. It was barely a footnote. There were some irregularities with the paperwork, but any investigation that sprawling will have some of that. They have since corrected some procedural issues.

Collusion is easy, it happened absolutely, it’s not a legal term, it just means there was cooperation present. That cannot be denied. Mueller decided he couldn’t prove a criminal conspiracy existed, and partly that was because Trump destroyed evidence, lied, obstructed and witness tampered like a mofo all during the investigation.

This investigation is just a joke to please Trump. And distract from his pedophilia with Epstein.

If all you say is true, then why was Trump not impeached over all this collusion with the Russians in the 2016 election?

You say it is easy and that happened. Schiff as I recall said the facts were irrefutable and yet Mueller recommended no charges (maybe because he couldn’t prove it as you say) and most telling Schiff didn’t charge Trump with collusion during impeachment trial #1.

I have always been of the opinion, that members of the Obama administration and the DOJ and FBI decided to substitute their opinion on whom was or was not fit to be POTUS over the the will of the voters in a free and fair election. If that is true then that is as abusive as any Russian interference. But if as you say, there is nothing to these latest allegations, then no one has anything to fear.

Sunshine is always the best disinfectant.

Sunshine is always the best disinfectant.
Do you think this investigation, which is based on a lie (that Russia didn’t actually attempt to interfere in our 2106 election) is “sunshine”?

You have a lot of nerve, I’ll give you that. Just have to laugh at the way you twist things.

Collusion isn’t a criminal term, there isn’t a crime there. I am of the opinion they should have charged him with conspiracy, but as I said earlier - Trump destroyed evidence, lied, obstructed and witness tampered for over 2 years before the Dems got their chance. Plus, the entire GOP aided him in telling his lies, loudly and often, which is why you are pretty confused even now about what actually happened.

The Dems had a decision to make, and the Ukraine shakedown provided them with a new crime that they could use. I don’t envy them, they were in a mess of Trump’s making.

I guess we will see what is there if anything.

As I said earlier and you ignored, the question to me is whether there was ever credible evidence to support a major investigation into whether Trump colluded with the Russians. That was what the whole Mueller investigation was about. That was why it required the appointment of a special counsel.

I don’t question that the Russians attempted to meddle or interfere in our election.

And what I’m trying to tell you, and you keep ignoring, is that this investigation isn’t about looking at that question - not really. This investigation STARTS with the “fact” (lie) that Russia did NOT interfere, and is attempting to prove that an assortment of people just made it all up.

It’s trying to soothe Trump’s ego by “proving” that Russia didn’t interfere - hence the “Russia Hoax” lie that they are starting with. And it’s trying to deflect attention away from Trump’s involvement with Epstein.

I haven’t heard that. Everything I have heard is what I represented to you. But if there is nothing there, then nothing will come of it.

As far as Epstein, it appears that all will eventually come out.

The statement above is supportive of Trump, by distorting the actual facts of the Muller investigation and Mueller's conclusions.

False. There have always been three issues, did Russia's interference help Trump win, did Trump welcome that interference and did Trump collude with Russia to interfere.

Mueller said it's not possible to know if Trump wins without Russia's help and that there wasn't enough evidence to prove collusion. Mueller did not say that Trump did not collude with Russia. Mueller said that there was ample evidence that proved that Trump welcomed Russia's interference and did what he could to take advantage of it.

Because Republicans and Barr were in cahoots with Trump and put out lies and roadblocks to keep it from happening.

Muller conducted an investigation into if Trump colluded with Russians. Mueller said there was ample evidence that Trump welcomed and took advantage of the Russian interference, but that it's a long standing DOJ policy not to charge a sitting president.

……..Ezekiel was a Confederate soldier who pushed the “Lost Cause” myth -- that the Civil War was valid and heroic, and not a war to keep slavery. Following the defeat of the Confederacy, Ezekiel left the U.S. for Europe and settled in Rome, where he hung the Confederate battle flag in his studio for four decades, according to Civil War Times Magazine.

His bronze memorial, measuring 32 feet, has a Latin inscription that claims that the Civil War was a “lost cause” that remained admirable because of its noble principles and effort to resist tyranny, an archived version of the Arlington Cemetery website states.

The monument also attempts to hide the violence that slaves were subjected to with figures including an enslaved woman holding a white officer’s child and a man accompanying his owner to war, the website notes……..

I’m proud to announce that Moses Ezekiel’s beautiful and historic sculpture — often referred to as “The Reconciliation Monument” — will be rightfully be returned to Arlington National Cemetery near his burial site.

It never should have been taken down by woke lemmings. Unlike the Left, we don’t believe in erasing American history—we honor it.

I know we have some former military members here

Love to hear their thoughts on this

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is weighing the return of the U.S. Army’s aggressive “shark attack” training practice as the Pentagon vows to “Make Basic Great Again.”

Hegseth, a U.S. Army National Guard veteran, pledged on Wednesday evening to crack down on what he sees as “weak, woke” and “politically correct” basic training.

“Getting back to basics…means getting back to tried, true & tough BASIC TRAINING,” he continued in a post on X. “When we start soft, we get soft.”

Part of Hegseth’s toughening-up process could involve bringing back “shark attacks,” a defense official told military news website Task and Purpose.

The practice involves recruits being swarmed by several bellowing drill sergeants to establish dominance at the start of basic training.

The in-your-face tactic, which became familiar to veterans of the Vietnam War era when many draftees filled ranks, was phased out about five years ago after being deemed no longer appropriate.

It was instead replaced by the “Thunder Run”: a day one training exercise which requires recruits to quickly and efficiently move equipment along a quarter-mile stretch, arranging items in the same way as they were picked up.

“Errors are penalized with push-ups or other exercises,” according to the U.S. Army website.

At the time, Command Sgt. Maj. Thomas Yaudas said that “nothing's really changed” apart from “we're not screaming in their faces.”

While some Army officials believe shark attacks are outdated and were rightfully replaced, others think it can be an effective technique to acclimate trainees to basic training.……..

Hegseth also directed the military to reverse a ban on “bay tossing,” defense sources told the website.

It would allow drill sergeants to overturn mattresses or bunks of military trainees once again, toss locker contents onto the floor, knock over trash cans, and other ways of causing a mess – before demanding that recruits clean it up.

According to one Pentagon official, Hegseth said that “bay tossing” is necessary because tough training equates to “more cohesive” units. The official told the news site that they want to eradicate training methods that “breed undisciplined people” and “wimps.”

“Tossing bunks is back. Drill sergeants are back. Getting cursed at is back,” a Pentagon source said……..

Newly appointed Washington D.C. Attorney General Jean Pirro has come up with a radical new recruitment strategy for her office: hire Fox News watchers.

The former co-host of The Five, who was sworn in to her position of D.C. AG earlier this week, returned to her old network to bemoan the skeletal nature of her office, before making a plea for people to get in touch with their resumes………

These people have served honorably and are being forced out.

Not only are they denying everyone of them, they had already told some they could take early retirement and then rescinded it.

“An Air Force spokesperson told The Associated Press that "although service members with 15 to 18 years of honorable service were permitted to apply for an exception to policy, none of the exceptions to policy were approved." About a dozen service members had been "prematurely notified" that they would be able to retire before that decision was reversed, according to the spokesperson who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss internal Air Force policy.”
