Maybe your real name is Karen? 😁

    Oh lord.🤨

My point is that it seemed like the thing to do back in the day. Just wondering if any of the ones who survived this far are going to take up the slack.

I am not watching. What was the question?
It was a question about an interview she had where she blanked on the Mexican president's name. She got beat up for it pretty good and looked very frazzled. Warren stuck up for her nicely and scored a few points, imo.

Well, in her defense, I wish I could forget those forkers too :hihi:

Ok well Pete just did it. What are your thoughts on it?

Yeah, showing at least competence in more than one language is very unpresidential these days.

2 things to all you idiots protesting at debates
    1) likely no one gives a fork
    2) no one can hear your dumb arses.

Pandering in more than one language may have seemed like a good idea, but a lot of people who only speak English wanted to know what they were promising at that moment.

I'm sure a lot of people who only speak Spanish were happy to get a little moment to understand what was being said at all.

It sure gives some perspective that your comment seems to bring up a paranoia of what was said that you don't understand, ignoring that the Spanish speakers don't get to understand 98% of what was said, without using a translated CC or SAP audio option (when available).

If he used American Sign Language, would you have the same objection and concern?

it is sorta paranoid, don’t you think? It’s not like Spanish is a super secret code than nobody else could possibly translate, right? I mean, how weird to even think they were promising something right in front of everyone. I don’t like to think you are actually serious about that thought.

Bloomberg was attacked much more than any other candidate, and I think he struggled a little initially, but I think he did very well for the 2nd half of the debate. I actually think everyone did well except corn Klobachar. I like Amy’s positions, so i’m disappointed.

Bloomberg will have to address the NDAs. I think he has good answers for the other questions.
