That isn’t even close to what my post was about.
Well since I blame the Democratic Party, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris for the pardon I saw it as a rather lacking question and comparison.

The legislation however solidly applies to the circumstances. Same for golf course guy.

Yep. If it was staged, it has to be a small group that is surrounding Trump that is pulling it off. I say that only because the Butler attempt was under Biden's administration technically. But there is a lot that doesn't add up. Just like there's a lot that doesn't add up about the Kirk assignation and this attempt.

The reason more and more people are having these reaction is because of everything Trump and Republicans have been doing. They are fundamentally unserious and we don't believe their official account on anything because they lie so much and are constantly trying to manipulate the narrative and news coverage.

Well, I think you need to remember one thing about the SS. They appear to be completely loyal to Trump, partisan, and compromised.

Some facts we know about the SS:

1. Mike Pence wouldn't get in the SUV with them. He didn't trust them.
2. They wiped all of thier cellphone logs when Biden attempted to clean house.
3. Biden wouldn't speak freely infront of SS agents.

They are not a normal agency.

In a Democrat Project 2028 plan. Dissolving the current SS, and starting over would be a day 1 priority.

I prefer to think that USSS staff are loyal to their protective duties and are professionals regardless of politics. I happen to know two that are fairly senior and work in the protective force assigned to two different people who are very high up in the administration (not the president). And based on what I know of them, they are professionals and take their job seriously.

That said, I also know their personal politics (and certainly that of their wives) and they are pretty deep red. They live in the way out DC suburbs in Virginia - almost semi-rural out there and pretty strongly Republican. I'm not gonna say this makes the agency "compromised" - I'm just saying these are the personal politics. I'd like to think that doesn't matter but I don't know, people are people.

You are evidently somewhat delusional. You blame everyone but Trump for him pardoning insurrectionists? Thats some next level weirdness.

There have been alarm bells going off about the Secret Service since Trump’s first term. I think there are a fair number of them who are full on MAGA - the kind who believe Trump was sent by God and is infallible. I remember reading that Biden pulled new people totally for his detail after his election. He didn’t trust any of them.

This guy is NOT conspiracy minded.

The GOP is doing what they always do - blaming Dems for this, ignoring their own calls for violence and (since Trump took office) their actual violence they are committing almost daily.

They are acting like the ballroom will be done in weeks or months. even if it does get built Trump won't be around to sue it, that's the dumbest part of all.

He will pay extra to get it done before he leaves office. Watch. Not his money, he’s great at spending taxpayers money. I suspect he doesn’t have the donations he said he did. The taxpayers will end up paying for the entire thing.

I’m not blaming everyone as you say. Biden, the Democratic Party, and Harris screwed the pooch. That’s who I blame. Biden failed to adhere to the “transition candidate “ derailing what should have been an open primary field - candidates that would have beat trump.

What does this have to do with what happened yesterday?

That's not even a rational response to MT15's statement.

In your so-called mind. Political parties can do as they wish. There are SCOTUS decisions that support that. Beyond that nobody, including you, gets to know what would have happened. That there were enough idiots who refused to vote for a qualified women underscores the stupidity of much of the electorate. Trump’s pardoning of terrorists is Trump’s doing. It is no one else’s fault.
