More than a month after House Republicans surprised Washington by advancing their framework for Trump’s $4.5 trillion in tax breaks and $2 trillion in spending cuts, Senate Republicans voted Thursday to start working on their version. The largely party-line vote, 52-48, sets the stage for a potential Senate all-nighter Friday spilling into the weekend.

With the Republicans bent on destroying the federal government infrastructure, Medicaid, social security, and now people’s 401ks…..we should see so much turnover on the Right come ‘26 and ‘28, And we are just a few months into possible the worst Presidency in history…..what else will they destroy and attempt to corrupt in the next 20 months!?

So, our elected officials are cool with this obvious corrupt action?

Fercryinoutloud, even some of the wealthy founding fathers knew money could be a corrupter. These guys don’t care how much they have made government into a corrupt reflection of the private sector.

There’s a bot that will email your representatives for free about this bill. I have already used it a couple of times. It will ask for a donation if you want a letter or fax sent, but emails are free.

Republicans unveil steep cuts to Medicaid in portion of Trump tax bill

In a Wall Street Journal opinion article published Sunday ahead of the bill’s release, Energy and Commerce Chair Brett Guthrie (R-Ky.) indicated the changes to Medicaid shouldn’t be seen as a cut
Yeah that’s the narrative. I got this back from my Rep (a direct quote from his email response):

“It has been made clear by President Trump and Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, that no cuts will be made to Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid. These are all mandatory programs that I will continue to protect as your Representative in Congress.”

They lie out of their arse because they know their own voters will never hold them responsible no matter how much it hurts them or people they "love".
