The failure comes just more than a month after the company’s seventh Starship flight also ended in an explosive failure. The back-to-back mishaps occurred in early mission phases that SpaceX has easily surpassed previously, indicating serious setbacks for a program Musk has sought to speed up this year.

An overwhelming majority of Republicans would side with President Donald Trump over Elon Musk, according to a new poll.

The findings from YouGov, conducted among 3,812 adults on June 6, reveal that among Republican voters 71 percent would choose Trump, while only six percent would opt for Musk. Another 12 percent would choose neither, and 11 percent were unsure.

But the findings are tighter across the broader electorate, with 52 percent of all respondents saying they would choose neither Trump nor Musk. Just 28 percent picked Trump, while eight percent sided with Musk.…….

President Donald Trump on Saturday said there would be “serious consequences” if tech mogul Elon Musk funds Democratic candidates to run against Republicans who vote in favor of the GOP’s sweeping budget bill.

“If he does, he’ll have to pay the consequences for that,” Trump told NBC News in a phone interview, but declined to share what those consequences would be.

“He’ll have to pay very serious consequences if he does that,” he added…….

Aw, if Eloon donates to Democratic candidates the Orange Orangutan will have a sad.

blatant corruption. threats to force political support.

Andrew Yang has reached out to Elon Musk with a sales pitch: Let’s build a third party together.

The former 2020 Democratic presidential candidate has been pushing his independent Forward Party for several years — and he sprang into action after Musk’s feud with President Donald Trump erupted and Musk polled X userson whether they wanted a new political party.

In an interview with POLITICO Magazine, Yang said he hasn’t heard back from Musk yet, but he’s optimistic. Yang also acknowledged he doesn’t agree with Musk about everything, but said that his Forward Party should appeal to those across the political spectrum. And don’t forget that Musk had endorsed Yang’s previous presidential bid.

Enormous hurdles exist to breaking through in America’s two-party system. But Yang argued the American public is ready for a change, particularly if the effort gets help from the richest man in the world — who also happens to control a massive social media platform.

“Elon has built world-class companies from nothing more than an idea multiple times, and in this instance, you have the vast majority of Americans who are hungry for a new approach,” Yang said. “I’m happy to spell it out for Elon or anyone else who wants to head down this road: A third party can succeed very quickly.”…..

Yang is another example of expertise in one field does not result in expertise in another. Building a third party is not just plopping a bunch of money down.

I'm rather disappointed in Yang. I thought he had some good ideas, like universal basic income, but for him to want to side with a fascist like Musk...

the ends are justified by the means.

Like any aspiring politician, they will back whatever they feel can help them achieve their goal(s).

Yang isnt any different than most.
