The failure comes just more than a month after the company’s seventh Starship flight also ended in an explosive failure. The back-to-back mishaps occurred in early mission phases that SpaceX has easily surpassed previously, indicating serious setbacks for a program Musk has sought to speed up this year.

You say that, yet you make excuses and also say things like - you are really curious about what DOGE can find / accomplish. We’re not stupid - nor do I have a “fevered mind” and I am requesting that you quit using that slur. It’s counter to the TOS. So what it comes down to is that your lip service that you don’t approve of the current approach is unsupported by the rest of your postings. It’s that simple. You just cannot hide your excitement at the dismantling of much of the federal government.

Just answer this question: if you had the power to stop what DOGE is doing, would you stop them?

It’s irresponsible to invest in a company that has Musk as the CEO. He’s emotionally and mentally unstable and has a social media presence that favors all sorts of un-democratic ideas and has stated goals that are also undemocratic. He been doing some ethically irresponsible election interference. He is directing DOGE employees to break the law. He has massive conflicts of interest in even being part of DOGE, and he is lying about nearly everything he has talked about. Maybe you think it’s okay to invest in a company that has a narcissistic sociopath as the CEO, but I think it’s irresponsible to take the risk of investing in a company with such an unstable leader. And we haven’t even touched on their negative safety record, history of covering up safety issues, massive recalls of their “truck”, and their accounting irregularities.
If I had the power this is what I would do.

“I support studying and evaluating the federal bureaucracy. Then planning a rational approach to improving cost and efficiency. Eliminate the unnecessary. Remove bloat.”

So, if I had the power, that is what doge would be tasked to perform.

Several conservatives on this board were perfectly fine with boycotting companies that supported LGBTQ+ rights. For example, Target faced conservative backlash and boycotts over its Pride merchandise, and Bud Light was boycotted simply for partnering with a transgender influencer. However, now that people are boycotting a company whose CEO openly flaunts Nazi ideology, those same individuals are suddenly complaining that boycotts are "unfair" and "harm employees." If they supported boycotts when they aligned with their values, why is it a problem now?
I don’t do boycotts.

So nice of you to wish financial ill on the 125.000 Tesla employees. And folks 401k’s.

“Tesla's equity compensation strategy delivers tangible value, with employees receiving between 20-40% of their total compensation in stock-based awards. This significantly outpaces traditional automotive manufacturers, where equity typically represents less than 10% of compensation packages for comparable roles.
Financial trading experts at Pocket Option have analyzed Tesla's compensation model against 27 comparable companies, identifying it as among the most employee-favorable in the technology-automotive sector. Their proprietary analysis shows that Tesla's stock program creates potential wealth accumulation 2.7x faster than industry averages during growth periods.”

Tesla employees especially should be feeling the pain, based on the horrible choices, their evil boss is perpetrating on the Nation with th help of The Head Felon. Do you think they should be exempt from this pain? It’s simple cause and effect. The man’s a threat, his business should suffer.

I’ll acknowledge many of them did not realize who they were going to be working for, Hitler Jr. But now they know they are enablers of the billionaire malfeasance, with his Nazi salutes, and belief that empathy is bad. Lack of empathy is written all over this man’s face as he gleefully throws people out of their work, with a “fork you” to boot. 😡

It's also a non-starter of an argument; the notion that a business, no matter what it does or who it supports, should be immune from consequences on the basis of impacts on employees and investors? What? Since when?

It doesn't even allow for the basic and obvious fact that if people aren't buying Teslas, they're inevitably spending that money somewhere else and supporting those employees and investors.

So, if I had the power, that is what doge would be tasked to perform.
That is unintentionally hilarious.

"I don't approve of what the chainsaw-wielding lunatics are doing. I'd ask the same chainsaw-wielding lunatics to do it nicely."

I’m not an expert but the Federal Govt was reduced in size under both Clinton and Obama, there it was done is in a sensible orderly manner, not chain sawing off arms and legs and expecting the victim to be “more efficient”. Something else, the way it’s being conducted, in it’s rushed haphazard way, it has zero to do with govt efficiency, instead it’s a smoke screen, everything to do with neutering, and eliminating the “deep state” he perceives that keeps him from taking ultimate control. His tsunami of unconstitutional EOS is very telling, writing them as Royal decrees. 🤬

Americans don't owe companies that employee Americans support, or good will.

Let's talk about how Tesla treats all of it's employees since you brought it up.

I'm curious. Do you support Elon stepping down as CEO?

I'm curious. Do you support Elon stepping down as CEO?

This is also how he treated his employees.

Also, don't try to unionized. Musk will interrogate you like you are some criminal.

Btw, I am tired of the whole Elon as the genius entrepreneur.

He started PayPal. No, he didn’t.

He started Tesla. No, he didn’t.

He did start SpaceX. That being said his model for SpaceX is a vertically integrated company. It is interesting because the steel companies were vertically integrated until they weren’t. The same applies to the car companies. SpaceX’s profit comes from Starlink. Imo, however, his major revenue comes from government contracts.

So the answer is no, you wouldn’t stop DOGE from doing what they are doing right now? That was the question, wasn’t it? Would you stop DOGE from doing the illegal unconstitutional things they are doing right now?

You completely avoided answering that question, which tells me everything I need to know.

Musk is either a complete moron about the US, it’s history and it’s form of government, or he is an evil oligarch trying to take over the government to enrich himself even more.

He's both.

The population of this country when it was founded was around 2-3M and covered a tenth of the land mass we have today! It dumb to believe the government of the size of our inaugural government could effectively serve today's population of +300M across 4M square miles. Moronic.

Musk and his cult deserve in return, every despicable harm that he is causing for the Federal employees and their families that he is destroying. I look forward to the next administration stripping away any and all contracts that every company he is involved in. He started this insanity and he should feel the same that he is dishing out.

Did someone just ask for corporate sympathy?

It's the free market at work! You all are supposed to be all for letting the market decide!

It's literally your whole ethos.

But now it's a bad thing? How so? If Tesla doesn't want their stock to tank they can fire the anchor dragging them down. They don't fire it then they suffer the wrath of the market. Simple as that.

Huh. Free market isn't so bad after all I guess.
