ugh. EVERY. SINGLE. Comment from some (R) pundit or holding some office, is saying how unfair, all the fraud, stopping the vote, everything SEEMS suspicious etc. Are they really this brainwashed, when they simultaneously never speak out about (R) voter suppression tactics going on in certain (R) states (this is a rhetorical question)

They are building the case that the voting process was so unreliable and untrustworthy that we just won't count your votes so we have to let your gerrymandered GOP state legislature save the day by appointing electors instead. This has been Plan B in Pennsylvania for months among the fringes.

It's just a talking point. None of them actually believes all that, lol.

I voted for Biden at the top then Republican everywhere else. I call it Kamala insurance as I perceive her to be farther left than Biden.

I’m curious, genuinely.. What makes you perceive Kamala as farther left? Is it because she’s from California? You’re definitely not the first person ive heard suggest that about her, but if anything, i understand why people who think she might be a little far *right* since she is a former prosecutor and seems very no-nosense.. I’m not saying i agree that she’s too far right, but i get the argument.. but i literally cant figure out why anyone would perceive her too far to the left of Joe, or of anybody else.

What i think is hilarious is, let’s just assume that the R’s get what they want and all this winds up tied up in the courts for months- on Jan 20th, by law, we will all be living under President Pelosi. :ROFLMAO: ... If i were as petty as the typical MAGA voter, i would say that i will revel in the Republican tears when that happens.. but since i dont like to get down in the mud at their level, I’ll just say that i may crack a smile when that happens.

Her voting record. She votes with Bernie fairly often.

ETA: Not saying I agree or disagree, but that's where it comes from, to my knowledge.

I think her voting record in the Senate has a lot to do with it.

Edit: jrad beat me to it. Lol.

Because fox and all the talk radio people say so!

    It is that simple

If there's any possible way they can get a recount, even an unofficial one, then welch on the bill, that's what they'll do.

It appears that in WI, you have to pay up front. If you end up winning the recount, they refund your money.

So Fulton county is done counting and there are 7k ballots from there that have not been included in the last batch of reported numbers. We could see +5k for Biden from just those votes.

I thought that it may have somehting to do its her unusual , not-easy-to-pronounce name, or the tone of her skin... But thankfully, I’m not that cynical. :ezbill:

I never like the "vote with" comparisons, even when it's Trump. First, you can only vote on what is presented for vote. Kamala has never voted with Bernie on the "Socialism for Everyone" bill because that bill doesn't exist. In fact, the things most people fear about the left aren't actual legislative items that have been presented, it's the talk.

So the fact that she's voted with Bernie for or against legislation, almost all of which is reasonable, really says nothing about her actual positions. It says something about the party positions on legislation.

Compare her actual policy positions to Bernie and they are pretty far apart.

    If you say so.

    See how that works? :hihi:

Well went to a friend's house to give him a hand and got to hear his 80 year old pops cry like a child about how Harris is gonna take over in six months and we are then well then you know the rest.

And yes he is a fox news junkie and he loves the talk radio.

I have known him since I was a child. He is the poster boy of a trump supporter racist guy with some education but not much, back in the day made a real good living and then it vanished so he blames everyone and everything but mostly people of color.

Put it to you this way I stopped going to saints games with them in the in the 90s because he dropped more N bombs than I did peanut shells that day.
