Election Night (+4) in America - Result: Biden Elected President (7 Viewers)

Just read that the latest GA update means 15k gap with 55k votes outstanding

Trump doing better in counties with high Covid death rates actually makes some sense to me. His followers are more likely to get Covid due to not being masked and socially distant, so counties with high numbers of Trump followers would have the highest death rates, right?

Welp, seems like it's not going to get officially called tonight because it's too late and there are too many humans involved that need sleep, but all signs point to a Biden win. Maybe I'm the one setting myself up for the 28-3ing but I don't see how the math works for Trump in any way. I'll be back for +2.
The official talking to the press on the stream said they were going to be there until it's done.

Oh, and don’t know how accurate this is but I saw on Twitter that one of the vote counting centers in GA is shutting down for the night because an angry armed mob of Trump supporters was gathering outside and officials feared for the workers’ safety. They will resume in morning.

This part is true. I didn't watch that debate, but the visual/clickbait part of it was bad. If they had time they should have gone into detail about how illegal immigrants are getting free health care now through the emergency rooms, and they would propose a system that is cheaper and humane.

That sounds nice in a vacuum, to a certain audience... of course, there are many more US citizens who also get free "health care" through emergency rooms... and sure, you could propose a system that is cheaper and humane, but how well does that proposal sit with the general audience? The general audience is probably going to think the cheapest alternative is not giving free health care to illegal aliens.

The crazy part is I really don't care if they actually do provide "free" healthcare to illegals, it's the messaging and branding that they royally screwed up...by openly pandering to an audience that can't even bleeping vote, they turned off people who can vote. By just saying "taxpayers" you plant the seed of "if you pay taxes you get healthcare" all while leaving the answer open because you're not specifying what kind of taxpayers...because technically everyone pays some sorta tax.

Another thing I was thinking about with Trump's large turnout is that he has been literally campaigning since he was inaugurated. His ground game should not be so surprising.

So you’re saying he was the Campaigner in Chief?

where have I heard that before?

I'm sure we'll be in recount range either way.
GA - I think we will see recounts and maybe the first mentions of lawsuits from Ossoff or Biden over undelivered Atlanta votes by the USPS. There were 4K postmarked but undelivered ballots in Atl. GA SOS says we’re will have results by noon today.

AZ - Biden’s lead is down to 68.6k. Each batch that drops Trump is gaining ground. Trump won Maricopa by 4 in 2016 and Biden is winning it by 4 now. If there is 500k votes outstanding and the Trump gains continue, this will be very close. I think CNN/NBC are looking smart for not calling this race.

So looks like nothing has changed yet since I fell asleep last night. Meh. Election day +2 now I guess.

I hope Nevada reports and puts an end to this thing. That one may end in a recount too though if it's close enough.

So are there only 10,000 left to be tabulated in Georgia? If that's the case why are we still paying attention?

There’s a little over 90k total left in GA to count. They just showed a statement from the Ga SoS that said that.

Yeah, the numbers have been hard to nail down. I think it would depend on where those 90k are coming from. If they're all from Fulton County, that's one thing. But if they're spread out, that's something else. I'm curious where those votes are coming from.

Also, I haven't heard much talk about provisional and military ballots. If the votes are this close, it seems to me those would become relevant, unless they're already included in the numbers.

Everything is going to be very, very close.

Arizona is going to tighten. Georgia is going to probably within 10,000 votes either way. Biden still has a lot of ground to make up in Pennsylvania but the votes are there.

We won't get any more clarity than that probably for another 3 hours at the earliest.
