It looks like the first shoe has dropped with the Durham investigation with the Clinesmith plea deal. Clinesmith wasn't a low level FBI employee involved in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

He worked with Strzok to arrange sending an FBI agent into Trump-Flynn briefing, was on the Mueller team, he took part in the Papadopoulos interviews, and he participated in the FISA process.

    From the NYT article:

I wonder who else knew about the lies?

It also makes perfect sense for it to turn out that the meeting was not about dirt on the Clintons. Russia is smart enough to know that meeting with a presidential candidate and offering them assistance like dirt on Hillary is illegal. So, they aren't going to walk into a meeting with that information. They are going to walk in with something else completely, and if it's a set up, they have clean hands. Once they determine that Trump's people are not setting them up, they will work towards getting them the dirt in exchange for something (like potentially lessening sanctions on adoptions---the very thing they talked about, apparently in that meeting).
The Trump Tower meeting was a honeypot scheme setup by Fusion GPS and Hillary.

SFL: What you are avoiding, like the plague, is the inescapable fact that the Trump campaign was eager to cooperate with the Russian government. They proved it by their actions and their emails about the meeting. Whether it was a set up or not, and I think that’s a suspicion not a fact, is irrelevant. Also, whatever Durham says is just his opinion, he couldn’t prove anything. Plenty of impartial observers thought his investigation was a huge dud, and it was.

You don't like being reminded that it was all BS and Hillary created the Trump Russia Collusion narrative?
We don’t like this obsession of yours with a conspiracy theory that hasn’t been proven at all. It’s boring, old news and tiresome. Hillary isn’t some evil diabolical mastermind responsible for every evil in the world, no matter how many conspiracy dudes tell you she is. Just move on already.

Trump got into trouble because of his own actions, nobody else’s. If he would have behaved like a normal ethical person, none of this would have happened to him. At all. He probably would have been re-elected too. But he can’t be normal, he’s not capable of it. So here we are.

That's first I've heard of that. What's your source?
My source is my brain and the fact that Fusion GPS, who helped create the Trump Russia collusion narrative with Hillary, met with the Russian lawyer before and after the meeting and they also supplied the document for the meeting. Do you think those are just coincidences?

That's all you have left to hang your hat on about the Trump Russia collusion narrative? 😆 Trump was eager to cooperate with the Russia, but he didn't. That's it?

The court filings that Durham made are just opinions? That's a weak attempt to discredit him. Which impartial observers? Lawfare, Weissman, or Strzok? 😆

Move on from exposing the biggest political hoax of all time that consumed the news for over 4 years? Not as long as you all continue to lie about it even after all that's discredited.

I don't know. Not sure I want to trust your brain. No source? Well then, I'll just assume it's not true.

I don't care!!! You're not going to shine any new light on anything. This is old BS news not worth discussing. You're also completely wrong and off base.

It's obvious to anyone who wasn't duped by The Clinton Intelligence Plan. Why do you think Fusion GPS was so involved with the Trump Tower meeting?
You haven’t shown they were, have you? Who says they were? But if they were, it was probably in their capacity of trying to repeal the Magnitsky Act. That was, after all, what the lawyer made the meeting about. Fusion was working to get that repealed for years.

Here is what the Senate found:

Fusion’s work for someone who supported Clinton happened roughly during that time also, but their main focus was on the Magnitsky Act. They were working for Russia and getting paid by Russia.

    * * * In sum, the investigation established multiple links between Trump Campaign officials and individuals tied to the Russian government. Those links included Russian offers of assistance to the Campaign. In some instances, the Campaign was receptive to the offer, while in other instances the Campaign officials shied away. Ultimately, the investigation did not establish that the Campaign coordinated or conspired with the Russian government in its election-interference activities.
So there were multiple links between the Trump campaign and the Russian government, some of those links included offers of assistance, and sometimes the campaign was receptive. But this is all something Hillary Clinton concocted?

I understand that they ultimately were unable to prove that Trump was conspiring with Russia, but just because they couldn’t prove there was a fire doesn’t mean there wasn’t a lot of smoke.

It's illegal for campaign officials to speak with people with ties to government officials from other countries? Do you think anyone in Obama's(or any other Presidents)campaign had any communications with people with ties to other government officials?

A lot of smoke? I'm sure you understand that's meaningless in regards to the law right?

I posted it earlier in this thread. I'll post it again.

The sources told Reuters that the negative information that Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya wanted to give to Republican Trump’s campaign at a June 2016 meeting in New York had been dug up by Fusion GPS in an unrelated investigation.

But hours before the Trump Tower meeting on June 9, 2016, Fusion co-founder and ex-Wall Street Journal reporter Glenn Simpson was with Veselnitskaya in a Manhattan federal courtroom, a confidential source told Fox News. Court records reviewed by Fox News, email correspondence and published reports corroborate the pair’s presence together. The source told Fox News they also were together after the Trump Tower meeting.

Since the meeting was actually about the Magnitsky Act, the original reason for the meeting was BS and just used to get Trump Jr to take the meeting. Bait and switch and the same company that came up with the BS Steele Dossier was involved.

How ironic. The company thay compiled the discredited Steele Dossier was also working for Russia. Also, one of the sources of the Steele Dossier was Danchenko who left the US in 2010 having been tagged as a potential Russian intelligence asset by the FBI. Hillary had her own Russia connections.

They were together in a federal courtroom? Seems an odd place to do a conspiracy doesn’t it? How does the article not say why they were in the same courtroom? Are you not the least bit curious? And an anonymous source said they were also together after the meeting? Well, that seals it, lol. No details, no place, nothing that could be used to corroborate, we just go with it?

But, still, the bait worked and everyone in the Trump campaign was pissed off that they didn’t get “dirt” on Clinton. It shows that they were ready and willing to cooperate with Russian government sources. So how are they excused for that, and Clinton is demonized? At least be consistent.

Edit: if anything, at least Clinton wasn’t working directly with the Russian government, and you should be able to see how what Trump’s campaign did was worse.
