Several prominent Democratic figures are set to speak at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago this month, two sources familiar with the plans told NBC News.

President Joe Biden, former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have been confirmed as speakers at the convention. Obama and the Clintons delivered speeches during the 2020 DNC, which was largely held virtually to prevent the spread of Covid-19 amid the pandemic.

A source familiar said that former President Jimmy Carter’s grandson Jason Carter is also confirmed to be speaking as a representative for his grandfather…….

I’m watching on the YouTube live feed from the Harris campaign. No commercials, no talking heads pontificating. I’m enjoying it this way. BTW when Harris walked out - you could feel how excited the crowd got even through the screen.

Beshear giving a solid if not memorable speech.

AOC was the best speaker so far. Hillary is still loved by some and is a better speaker with nothing to lose.

PBS is speaking over too many people. I had to turn to YouTube when they decided to skip Sen. Wardnock.

Someone on Twitter said they’re running 90 minutes late. Biden’s speech may be at midnight at this rate. (I am EDT). I know it’s an hour earlier in Chicago.

Warnock is a great man, but I need him to get done, lol.

CNN has been surprisingly restrained in their commentary when there are speakers. Senator Warnock spoke without interruption.

I didn’t realize this about Steve Kerr. Much respect to him.

To add more salt to his pain, opposition crowds during his games chanted something about that assassination. Some people can be cruel.

    edit, yeah here it is:

And right after I posted this - he went OFF. He did a great speech. Very inspiring.
