Verdict will be read 330 CST. Can post here with updates or thoughts.

I did not expect that. I didn't even put it on live to avoid the gut punch of an acquittal. Thanks goodness for some semblance of justice/decency.

If the jury doesn't find him guilty of murder or only guilty of manslaughter, do you think Biden's statement could incit people to commit violence?
Sheesh, I bet you were real upset about Trump stoking up people after the election. That’s right you didn’t say jack shirt.

Oh sorry. We can only point out when Trump incites people to commit violence. I forgot the rules.

If Trump was still President and he urged Minnesota protestors to get more confrontational and stay in the streets, does that qualify as inciting violence?

Without trying to derail this thread, I had a problem with Maxine Waters statement and timing.. if it's true that Biden's statement didn't come out until after the jury was sequestered (I'm assuming it was because Biden referenced it) then I don't have a big issue with him supporting the idea that the officer (who was obviously guilty) should be found guilty.. though if I were him I probably would have held off even though the jury was sequestered.. but I think him potentially inciting violence is a stretch and would entail more than what he said.

He danced around it. Didn’t say he was guilty but said it was overwhelming and they should do the right thing.

Totally inappropriate for Biden to comment on the trial before its over.

Biden “prayed for the right verdict.” He thought the evidence was overwhelming. He didn’t say anything else and it was after the jury was sequestered.

Put Biden in front of a rally that he and his people helped organize outside the courthouse where Biden tells the crowd that they have to “fight like hell” to get justice and that they will “never get justice with weakness” after others said this should be trial by combat before the crowd and you would have a stronger case for equivalency. As it is, you are embarrassing yourself with this reach.

This doesn’t even consider the fact that the Trump incitement rally was based on a lie.

I agree. Maxine Waters was out of line with her comments. Biden was not.

Oh please. We all know exactly what Biden was insinuating and it's totally inappropriate for a President to comment on case that hasn't been decided. You know it and your partisan defense of Biden is transparent.
