I will point out a few things.

The Vulgate was a poor translation. The KJV is not God’s official translation. It was authorized by King James the VI of Scotland/James the I of England.

The was political rationales for the translation. All which does nothing to obscure the contradictions sprinkled throughout it.

The so-called Synoptic Gospels are not the “same”. They were written not to be an exact history but to put forth theological doctrines. The same applies even more to the Gospel of John.

As for the epistles, there are various authors developing various theological points. It is extremely doubtful that the authors intended them to be “The Word of God”. Of course, the nascent church needed scripture as it was splintering further from Judaism. The council of Nicaea decided what was canonical and what was not. You really wonder? How naive are you? EVERY SECT/DENOMINATION BELIEVES THAT THEY ARE THE “TRUE” FAITH. Every single one. Ecumenism is window dressing. The Roman Church derives from allegedly being direct from the apostles. This is inaccurate. There is much politics in Roman dogma. The Protestants due no better. Luther was an anti-Semitic piece of garbage. The Protestant movement fractured almost immediately. The resulting warfare between competing “true faiths” killed multiple thousands of people.
