I'm gonna give you my conspiracy theory.

There is no way someone should be able to get on a roof with a line of sight to a nominee.

The SS was heavily invovled in the Trump coup. They even deleted their own text messages off their internal server to not be implicated.

My theory is they gave Trump all his toadies for protection, and they suck at it.

Well, we know they sucked at it today. So that part isn’t a conspiracy theory.

It won’t blow the country up. It’s tense and uncomfortable but it won’t blow the country up. I’ve been through this before.

We don’t even have a clue about motive yet. 🤷‍♀️
This event might even have the effect of calming this shirt down. What I am sure of is the outcome of this would be very hard to predict.

There are reverse acting situations which show up all through life. When people speculate to try to predict the future they tend to only consider direct acting situation, ignoring the whole universe of reverse acting possibilities. That's something I've learned through life.

About one in three situations in the real world are reverse acting. An air conditioning thermostat is an example of something you see every day which is reverse acting. The refrigerator has a reverse acting function as well.

Emergency brakes on cars are reverse acting. When they are set the car WON'T be able to move. When they are released the car may move.

Trying to stamp out various vices with enforcement measures is reverse acting in our society. The more enforcement which is applied will invarabbly make the problem worse, not better. It's reverse acting.

That doesn't however mean no action will in turn make it better, that half shell is on the back of another clam.

Like a reverse acting air conditioning system is only able to cool, and a direct acting heating system only makes heat. They are different machines.

The combination heating and cooling T-stat on the wall is the only part which ties them together to make them work in concert with each other. It contains a direct acting switch, and reverse acting switch. One of which is tied each of the two machines.

Thread from a reporter from Axios who was there. There is more, just putting 2 tweets here about the crowd ugliness after.

Trump's weak spot above all is his regard for loyalty.. just hypothetically, it could leave him open to something like what you're saying.

Do we have even have a name yet of the shooter? There is a chance. This is Christian nationalist upset that abortion, and gay marriage got cut from the GOP platform.
Possible sure but.. not my first first guess lol.

As much fact checking as can be done. Highlight and point out the nonsense. But I will tell you this as someone who is on Twitter more than I probably should be - the BS isn’t equal from both sides.

There’s more than I would like to see from democrats. But the sheer volume of hatefulness and bigotry award goes to the GOP. It’s not really close.

Here is the difference - people who don’t like Trump were speculating that it wasn’t real right away to my dismay. But once the facts have come out, they will mostly drop it. MAGA and Trump claimed that Pelosi’s attacker was his gay lover for months, even after video of the man breaking in to the Pelosi house was revealed, even after the assailant was identified and ended up being a Trump supporter. I’m sure if you looked you could find MAGA people still claiming that lie even today.

Trump did that by demonizing the media. Not valid criticism, but an autocratic - if they say anything bad about me they’re the enemy of the people.

I’m sure you think I’m someone who has always been a Democrat. Not true, I’m not even registered as one because my state doesn’t make you pick a party to register. I’ve been an independent my entire adult life, until Trump. I have voted for both parties in the past, especially in local elections where you know the people. But the way the GOP rolled over and showed their belly to Trump has pushed me away completely.
I’ve been thinking about your response and you may be right but I’d counter with this. It’s hard to determine who worse than the other. People on the left mostly follow people on the left and listen and watch things that support the left. The same goes for the right. They tend to live in echo chambers and only see negative things about the other side and positive things about their own. It’s a form of brainwashing propaganda. And I say that because of the way election results finish especially for the president. The elections are typically close with I think last election Trump got 75m votes and Biden got 81m and I think this election Trump will get more. Of those 75m I would say less than 1% are crazy and same on the dems. They may be the loudest but they are a huge minority. The rest of the voters I bet 90% are voting party lines regardless of who the candidate is because regardless of the person running their core political beliefs are in line with that party. The other 9 +/- % actually look at what the person has done and what they stand for, who they are and what’s important to them. So I don’t think one party has more crazy people than the other by a large margin I just this they are the ones loudly screaming on social media.

Let’s be honest. We are told if you vote for republicans then you hate America and democracy and want fascism and if you vote for democrats you hate America and want socialism or communism. We are being trained that voting outside our party will lead to the demise of America and our way of life. If we look back it’s been said since probably the late 60s and we are still here. I don’t know I guess eventually one side will be right but I don’t see it happening in my lifetime.

Edit- and if you vote independent it’s a vote for or against my guy or your vote doesn’t count

He’s on of the names I keep hearing the Dems throwing around and he would get some R votes
It's OK with me. Vote for RFK if you want. It half satisfies me. Halfway is good enough for me.

It's a heck of a lot better than all the way wrong.

    :)
