I was looking for a place to put this so we could discuss but didn't really find a place that worked so I created this thread so we can all place articles, experiences, videos and examples of racism in the USA.

This is one that happened this week. The lady even called and filed a complaint on the officer. This officer also chose to wear the body cam (apparently, LA doesn't require this yet). This exchange wasn't necessarily racist IMO until she started with the "mexican racist...you will never be white, like you want" garbage. That is when it turned racist IMO

All the murderer and other insults, I think are just a by product of CRT and ACAB rhetoric that is very common on the radical left and sadly is being brought to mainstream in this country.

Another point that I think is worth mentioning is she is a teacher and the sense of entitlement she feels is mind blowing.

The Francis Howell School Board recently dropped Black History and Black Literature. The district’s three high schools have offered these courses since 2021. Just over 100 students took the classes this semester in the suburban area of St. Louis.

The school board voted 5-2 to stop offering the courses. In July, the board revoked an anti-racism resolution and had copies removed from school buildings.

The resolution games’ adoption happened in August 2020 amid the national turmoil. It followed the death of George Floyd.

The resolution says the community would “speak firmly against any racism, discrimination, and senseless violence against people regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, immigration status, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or ability.”

Since last year’s election, five new members have taken control of the board. And they have targeted the resolution and course offerings. They did this with the backing of the conservative political action committee Francis Howell Families. All seven board members are white.

The PAC’s website opposes the courses, saying they involve the critical race theory. However, many experts say the scholarly theory has been focusing on how racism is systemic in the nation’s institutions. And how they don’t teach it in K-12 schools.

Parents and students did not like their decision. It caused protests outside the board meeting, with some chanting, “Let them learn!”

Inside, speakers also questioned the move.

“You’ve certainly taught me not to underestimate how low you will go to show your disdain toward the Black and brown communities’ experiences and existence,” a Black father said.

Another speaker, Tom Ferri, urged the board to focus on more significant issues, such as high teacher turnover. “Tapping into a diverse talent pipeline would be a great way to slow attrition, but what diverse staff wants to work in a district waging culture wars?” he asked.

Board Vice President Randy Cook Jr. was elected in 2022. He does not support the school’s decision, saying he and others object to using “Social Justice Standards.” District spokesperson Jennifer Jolls said that new Black history and literature courses “could be redeveloped and brought to the Board for approval in the future.”................

HARRISON, Ohio (WKRC) - A new flag flying in Harrison has caused quite the controversy as of recently. Right off the busiest street in the city is a large confederate flag along with a sign that says "Welcome to Harrison, Ohio" with Mayor Ryan Grubbs name written underneath.

Pictures of this display on a Facebook community page have hundreds of comments, shares, and reactions from people who find it upsetting and from people who don’t see a problem with it.

Corey Taylor lives in Harrison and finds it out of place.

"They’re poking the bear trying to get a reaction out of people,” said Taylor. “I mean I just don’t feel like there’s a place for any kind of racism, and I understand the flag can have dual meanings and people want to hold on to that heritage but we’re in a state where that heritage was never a thing."

City leaders said that despite what it looks like, the flag and welcome sign with the mayor's name on it aren't on city property or a city display.

One man who works across the street from the property said he plans to go to the city council meeting Tuesday night to share his concerns about the flag.

Dr. Brian Hackett is the director of the Public History Program at Northern Kentucky University. He says, to fly the confederate flag in Ohio, is ironic.

“We have developed this sort of myth around the confederate flag as if it means that it’s a good thing, that we’re rebellious, that we don’t take things for face value and stuff which is all bologna. It’s completely made up. It’s completely a product of the 20th century,” said Hackett. “35,000 Ohioans died fighting that flag. In fact, you look back at history right after the Civil War, how many people hated the confederate flag and how the southern states requested some of their battle flags be returned, especially from the state of Ohio because a lot of Ohio troops captured these flags and Ohio said no, we’re not. These things are symbols of hatred and oppression and we’re not gonna give them back.”...........

Must be something with towns named Harrison.
I know at one time Harrison, Arkansas was declared as most racist town in America. And i can contest to that, i lived there for a short time back in the 80's. My mom says they actually had a bilboard with something to the extent of 'black people keep on driving'. can't remember what the exact wording was. i know there have been many racial ones that followed, without the blantant wording..

    has anyone watched this documentary?

another case of "blame a black guy" a la Susan Smith

if this butt crevasse had said a white guy did it, and after the shooting ran into this working class white neighborhood there is zero chance the response is remotely the same where all the cops descended on the area knocked down downs with battering rams, and harassed every black guy in sight

    Shameful

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — The Utah Jazz have responded after the team's security told a rabbi to remove a courtside sign during Monday night's game against the Dallas Mavericks.

The sign, which read "I'm a Jew and I'm proud," was reportedly a response to Mavericks player Kyrie Irving, who was suspended in 2022 for sharing a link to an antisemitic film denying the Holocaust.

“Alarming, offensive, and hurt on a very profound level," Rabbi Avremi Zippel said of Irving’s past comments, which Irving later apologized for.

Zippel said he felt it was crucial to be at the game and hold that sign, considering it important to both himself and his community.

During the game, Zippel said Irving noticed the sign early in the first quarter. That’s when Zippel said Irving said, "no need to bring that to a game.”

Shortly after this interaction, Zippel claimed Jazz security approached him to check his tickets and informed him that signs were not permitted courtside.

However, as the game progressed, Zippel reported receiving contradictory explanations from Jazz employees that the content of the sign was the issue and about why he had to put the sign down.

“Others alluded to the fact that Irving had gone to the bench, talked to Dallas security who had brought the matter to Jazz security, and that’s why the signs were coming down,” Zippel said.

The Utah Jazz issued a statement explaining that their code of conduct aims to ensure games are played without distractions or disruptions. They noted that during an out-of-bounds play in the first quarter, the interaction sparked by the courtside signs created a distraction and interfered with the game, leading to the request to remove them.........

The notion that the U.S. criminal-justice system is stacked against black people has gained currency since the death of George Floyd. It’s often cited as a basis for everything from ending cash bail and closing prisons to legalizing drugs, decriminalizing petty theft and offering reparations to the descendants of slaves. But is it supported by the evidence?

Not according to a new academic paper by two Stetson University sociologists, Christopher Ferguson and Sven Smith. After analyzing 51 studies on sentencing disparities that were published between 2005 and 2022, they conclude that “overrepresentation among perpetrators of crime explains incarceration disparities to a greater degree than does racism in the criminal justice system.” In other words, blacks are incarcerated at higher rates than other groups because they commit crimes at higher rates, not due to systemic bias.

The sudden announcement Tuesday that Claudine Gay resigned as Harvard's first Black president has some prominent local Black professionals and academics concerned about the role of race in Gay's departure.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Ibram X. Kendi, founder of the Center for Antiracist Research at Boston University, wrote: "Racist mobs won't stop until they topple all Black people from positions of power and influence who are not reinforcing the structure of racism."

Thoughts on if anyone actually believes this is racism?

Do you think it was a double standard? Do you believe academics who have stated that there isn’t one of them that could survive the scrutiny applied to her and come out unscathed?

Did you notice the other cases of misattributed work that have come forward? And how no one is calling for their resignation at all?

Do you take Rufo at his word that he targeted her specifically? Why do you think he chose her instead of any other college president?

Kendi is a fraud and as Glenn Loury said an empty suit.

That's some simplistic circular logic there.

The University of Washington has revealed that "an internal whistleblower" exposed discrimination against white and Asian job candidates in its psychology faculty.

An internal report found that a third-placed job applicant, who was Black, was given a tenure-track assistant professor job last April, above white and Asian candidates who were ranked higher in the selection process.

Other violations included excluding white staff from meetings with job candidates, deleting a passage from a hiring report to hide discrimination, and discussing ways to "think our way around" a Supreme Court ruling that barred affirmative action in colleges.

More examples of the racist radical left view of bigotry of low expectations.

so, you are saying if i google Racist Graffiti, it'll only come back with Hoxes, no real racists doing graffiti?
Can you show me a racist graffiti/noose 'attack' that has been done in the last 4 years that the media covered nationally that turned out to be done by actual racist and not the ones reporting looking to create racism or personal or ideological gain?
Like I said, there might be and this one MIGHT be one of them but I tend to doubt it. The vast majority have been hoaxes and most never get reported on again, that alone should tell you something.
