I was looking for a place to put this so we could discuss but didn't really find a place that worked so I created this thread so we can all place articles, experiences, videos and examples of racism in the USA.

This is one that happened this week. The lady even called and filed a complaint on the officer. This officer also chose to wear the body cam (apparently, LA doesn't require this yet). This exchange wasn't necessarily racist IMO until she started with the "mexican racist...you will never be white, like you want" garbage. That is when it turned racist IMO

All the murderer and other insults, I think are just a by product of CRT and ACAB rhetoric that is very common on the radical left and sadly is being brought to mainstream in this country.

Another point that I think is worth mentioning is she is a teacher and the sense of entitlement she feels is mind blowing.

I don't find it strange, not anymore, but i do find it unfortunate that the internet has created a situation where nothing is local anymore.

We used to only know about crazy people in our town, we didn't think they represented a significant group.

Now every crazy person gets seen by everyone, so we all assume there are more of them.
The wonderful addition of social media to our society!
I agree with just about everything you posted there. You and I might figure all this bull out one day!

I didn't watch the video. I was commenting on the fact that Libs of Tik Tok is known to mislead and continues to post inflammatory content despite the fact that it puts people in harm's way.

You're an interesting guy, Farb. You make a clear (and false) implication of something truly disgusting, then you try to gaslight me over it, then you admit it. And you wonder why nobody takes your posts seriously.
How does posting what someone says put anyone in harms way?
If you want to say by crazy right wingers, wouldn't' the person that posted it originally be putting themselves? I also want to be clear, that I don't anyone is responsible for who someone else reacts to their words, much in the same way that I don't believe words cause violence or 'trauma' to anyone at all.

I know why you don't take me seriously, much as I cannot take some of you seriously. How did I gaslight you?

The difference between a play/show/movie and real, everyday life. Please stop intentionally misrepresenting what is being said.
Do you think that guy was a member of the 3rd Reich? No? Then that is not real life is it? It is a costume. Just because some weak minded people chose to be offended by a costume does not mean society has to play along.

We will never figure it out.

Eventually we will all be dead, and the only people left will have been born into that world and we will finally adapt to it.

Jesus forking Christ, you moved the goalposts so far that I don't even know where they are.

I would answer this question, except...

... you've already decided that it's impossible, so you have no desire to consider a contradictory point of view.

I know why you don't take me seriously, much as I cannot take some of you seriously. How did I gaslight you?

    You're doing it again. Stop.

Is your argument that because the third reich doesn’t exist, neo-nazis don’t exist?

I was debating whether to put this on the CRT thread or this one. This is the desired result of CRT

At this point, do we need to discuss the rise of anti-white racism in this country or are we still doing the whole 'minorities can not be racist' thing?

So how does not agreeing with someone on how they live their life equals violence? I will grant you that simple, weak minded and narcissistic people view any criticism as a violent attack but normal people don't consider words as violence.

There's a large gap between "not agreeing with someone on how they live their life" and "intentionally drawing attention to legitimate events and healthcare providers, knowing full well that it increases the chance that someone will try to turn an otherwise legitimate event into something bad".

Since you do not know what CRT is you cannot state that this woman’s vulgar words are the result of anything beyond her own hatred.

Racism derives from power positions. Bigotry can be universal. All racists are bigots, not all bigots are racists. That you don’t like it and snakily whine about is irrelevant.

At this point, do we need to discuss the rise of anti-white racism in this country or are we still doing the whole 'minorities can not be racist' thing?
“The ‘reverse racism’ card is often pulled by white people when people of color call out racism and discrimination, or create spaces for themselves … that white people aren’t a part of. The impulse behind the reverse racism argument seems to be a desire to prove that people of color don’t have it that bad, they’re not the only ones that are put at a disadvantage or targeted because of their race. It’s like the Racism Olympics. And it’s patently untrue” (Blay, 2015).
whites see discrimination as a zero-sum game. The more they thought discrimination against blacks was decreasing, the more they felt discrimination against whites was increasing. That’s consistent with other studies showing that if you remind whites that the American population is becoming more diverse and that whites will soon be less that half of the population, their concern about anti-white discrimination increases. Whites tend to view increasing diversity as anti-white bias.

No. Why would we want to discuss a unicorn? There is no "anti-white racism" let alone a rise in said activity that doesn't exist. Anti-white racism is yet another illusion that the right has enraged themselves about out of fear of inevitably becoming a minority. Stated plainly, it's a lie. But this time it's a lie coming from the people you support instead of coming directly from you. You've simply bought completely and comfortably into the lie.

Can people be prejudiced against someone for no other reason than the fact that they are white? Of course they can and do. But that doesn't amount to racism, that is if you don't have a clue of the definition of racism which I'm fairly certain you don't.

You should really do yourself a favor and learn the difference between racism and prejudice. You might save yourself some embarrassment. Then again, in order to feel embarrassment, one must have some level of shame which you clearly do not possess.

This is specious on its face. It’s Tucker Carlson level gaslighting.
