Many of Trump's endorsed candidates did not do well on Nov. 8th.

Gov. Ron DeSantis DID do well.
    He won convincingly.
Yet in this OP's opinion, Donald Trump is an egomaniac who is seemingly incapable of putting "Party over Self"
Trump has ZERO chance of being elected our next president.
In my opinion, if Trump would just shut up and go away (fat chance of that)...but "if" Trump did that, Gov. Ron DeSantis would have a CHANCE to be a formidable candidate for President in 2024.
Here is an interesting article on this topic...

What do any of you think re. Trump vs DeSantis?

Chris Christie, the former New Jersey governor, who mounted a failed, explicitly anti-Trump challenge for the Republican presidential nomination, refused to rule out running on a third-party No Labels ticket, a step most observers rate more likely to damage Joe Biden than Donald Trump.

Appearing on The Axe Files, a podcast hosted by the former Barack Obama adviser David Axelrod, Christie was asked if he was considering a No Labels run for the White House.

Christie said: “You know, I think the way I would look at it is, I will do whatever I can to try to make sure that the country doesn’t go through what I think will be the misery of a second Trump term.

“There’s a lot between actually running yourself and nothing. But I wouldn’t preclude anything at this point. I would just say that there are a number of hurdles to get over before I would actually consider running as a third-party” candidate.……

Former New Jersey governor Chris Christie (R) has decided against running as the No Labels candidate for president after spending time and money gaming out the prospects of a centrist third-party bid against President Biden and former president Donald Trump.

The decision leaves the group with few remaining high-profile options for candidates, despite widespread public concern over the two major-party contenders.

“I appreciate the encouragement I’ve gotten to pursue a third-party candidacy,” Christie said in a statement to The Washington Post on Wednesday.

“While I believe this is a conversation that needs to be had with the American people, I also believe that if there is not a pathway to win and if my candidacy in any way, shape or form would help Donald Trump become president again, then it is not the way forward.”

Christie and his team spent the last several weeks investigating the possibility of joining a No Labels bid, as leaders of No Labels amped up their courtship of him to become a candidate……

Way to go Chris. I wish more Republicans had your courage,

Would it be true if I were to say: No Labels has no candidate and is of no importance?

Never was and never will be of any importance.

A label in the terms of that organization is meaningless. Those for whom the information is aimed decide what the label should be based upon the content and context of the information.

If person A tries to run as “no label” yet puts forth policies which can and are viewed within a specific existing framework of varying ideologies then said person will be labeled whether they wish to be or not.

I see. Yet I was looking more for the answer @MT15 provided.
I don't want to vote for Biden, Trump or Kennedy.
I have no idea who is someone I could feel comfortable voting for.
    Not a Socialist...or a Green Party Candidate.
I have no candidate at the moment.

What is the problem you have with Biden?

If nothing else, he's our best chance to keep Cheato's tiny, grubby hands away from the levers of power.

Edited to add: Which is actually unfair. Biden's done a great job with the hand he's been dealt. Ukraine still stands and nobody's been glassed as the start of WWIII. Wages are rising, unions are becoming stronger. We're energy independent. Our allies are only concerned with the fickle, moronic GOP as far as meeting our obligations are concerned. They know Joe can be trusted. We're making a little headway on climate change and some of the ridiculous regulation deletions have been reversed. Yes, Virginia, some regulations are GOOD.
The vaccine rollout was as much a success as Trump's cowardice would allow. We're in much better shape than most of the rest of the world, due in large part to Biden's leadership. As in 2020, I'm not just voting against Trump, I'm voting FOR Biden.

The national director of No Labels, the third-party group which on Thursday said it would not run a candidate in the US presidential election, will now vote for Joe Biden, not Donald Trump.

“Me, as a person?” Joe Cunningham told Fox News. “I would vote for Biden over Trump.”

Cunningham did not elaborate. He was also offered the chance to choose Robert F Kennedy Jr, the vaccine sceptic and conspiracy theorist running as an independent.

Asked why No Labels gave up on its quest, for which it said it raised $60m and secured ballot access in key states, Cunningham said: “No Labels was looking for a hero and a hero never emerged.…..

So No Labels National director will vote for Biden and No Labels will not run a candidate.
Now I'll hold my breath and wait for the people who told me again and again that No Labels had an agenda to pull votes from Biden so Trump could be the next President.
......tick....tick....let's see who admits they were wrong....

Why should anyone admit they were wrong? It was and is patently obvious they weren’t going after Trump voters. They were going after more moderate voters who would have voted for Biden when faced with the choice between Trump and Biden. Nobody owes you anything because one man associated with the organization admitted, when pressed BTW, who he will vote for now.

They are NOT running a candidate to pull moderate voters away from Biden....tipping the election to Trump....which is was SUPPOSEDLY their hidden agenda.
    True or not?

I'm not seeking or due an apology. That's silly.
I AM wondering if anyone will admit that their prior analysis was actually not correct.

You haven’t shown it was incorrect. The only reason they are not running a “moderate” candidate is because they couldn’t get anyone to agree. Is that true or not? They have courted numerous moderate figures, up until they just ran out of time to field a candidate.

Who would this hypothetical moderate candidate take voters from, Trump or Biden? Independent and moderate voters broke for Biden in 2020. The fact that the guy who was speaking for them will now vote for Biden actually backs up my point - if he had found a candidate it would be a vote pulled away from Biden, would it not?

you are saying everyone who is invloved in No Labels will vote Biden, or was it just one person's personal preference?
