Hunter Biden received a $3.5 million wire transfer from Elena Baturina, the richest woman in Russia and the widow of Yury Luzhkov, the former mayor of Moscow, Senate Republicans revealed in their report on the younger Biden’s work in Ukraine.

Baturina is referenced in the 87-page report, which was released Wednesday, addressing her payment to Biden’s investment firm in early 2014.

“Baturina became Russia’s only female billionaire when her plastics company, Inteko, received a series of Moscow municipal contracts while her husband was mayor,” it said in providing background on the businesswoman.

The report described her involvement with Biden as “a financial relationship,” but declined to delve deeper into why the wire transfer was made.

The probe also found that Baturina sent 11 wires transfers between May and December 2015 to a bank account belonging to BAK USA, a tech startup that filed for bankruptcy in March 2019.

Nine of those 11 wire transfers were first sent to Rosemont Seneca Partners, the investment firm founded by Biden and Chris Heinz, stepson of former Secretary of State John Kerry, before being transferred to BAK USA.

We all know their is massive corruption on both sides of the aisle. Here is an alleged allegation against Hunter Biden who was allegedly enriching himself because his Dad was Vice President.

The talking points are starting to roll out, and they’re….not good, lol. Here is some guy I don’t even recognize making the argument that Hunter being able to get his dad on the phone is enough to impeach Joe. Imagine that, being impeached for taking your only son’s phone calls. What a monster Joe is, lololololol. What was said - doesn’t matter. Just saying hello - that‘s the crime.

Just monstrous. During this time frame Beau had cancer and was dying. And they expect Joe to not take a phone call from Hunter during this?

This is to refute the idiotic idea, pushed by Rs for years now, that Joe got rid of the Ukrainian prosecutor to protect Burisma. First of all, it was official policy, not Joe’s idea, to get him to resign and second:

Yep, the Republican talking points on this have always been a bunch of nonsense.

So, perhaps Hunter Biden should hold a press conference tomorrow to announce he is running for president.

It would be fun watching republicans try to investigate him while trying to stop the “election interference” of investigations into Trump.

They would do it without missing a beat. I watched that guy from AL say Biden‘s decision was political to keep the Space Force command in CO, and how awful it is to politicize a decision like that, and in the very next breath say that Tuberville wasn’t being political because it was Biden’s fault that Tuberville is holding up military promotions.

Haven't looked at it but here's the Devon Archer transcript:

On foxnews.com I had to scroll down to the 8th headline to find the coverage of the transcript... I think that tells you a lot right there.
Make that the 10th headline on their site now, behind stories such as these:

I especially love the way Fox spends 9 paragraphs discussing Hunter being asked by Burisma to help with pressures, and describes Joe Biden demanding Ukraine fire their prosecutor…but don’t even hint at Archer stating twice that Burisma didn’t want the prosecutor fired because they had him under their control.

And they keep on flipping it - and as we've seen the lie still keeps being repeated - even though the basics of the Biden/prosecutor/Burisma stuff has been out there for literally years now.

Haven't looked at it but here's the Devon Archer transcript:
I read the entire majority part, and half the minority part. Not only is there no “there”, Hunter was scrupulous while at Burisma to keep himself and his business separate from his dad. He made sure a different partner at the law firm handled the DC business for Burisma at first when he was their outside counsel, and later he when on the board he made sure Burisma hired a DC lobbying firm to advocate for them. He told Archer they had to be careful not to break the law, because he did look at his name as having value, and didn’t want to besmirch it. Archer said Burisma sometimes expected him to do more, and Hunter would be happy to take credit when actual DC policies happened to benefit Burisma, but he specifically said in an email - we have no control over what my dad actually says and does.

Rs want to make a big deal about all these phone calls that happened when Hunter was with business associates - about 20 in 10 years - but they forced Archer to speculate on that number, so it’s unclear how accurate that number is. And at one point Archer says - you know Hunter talked to his dad every day, right? Sometimes the calls would happen during business meetings and they make a big deal about that too, but I imagine that would be the time difference. And he did testify that there were no discussions about business during the phone calls. There were 2 dinners, that Rs wanted to characterize as business dinners - but later we find out that the first dinner was a birthday dinner, and the second one was a charity dinner for the World Food Fund, or something like that. Again, no memory of business being discussed.

In other words - even though it’s pretty obvious that the Rs coached Archer, look at the transcript - basically what it boils down to is that Hunter was cognizant that his last name had some value to these people, and he was fine with that, but he knew where the legal line was and he wouldn’t go past it. And his experience and work for the company was not negligible, as Rs like to say. By the time he joined the Board he did have some fairly extensive experience, although I‘m sure his last name mattered a great deal. But it’s not like he was incapable of doing the work he was hired to do.

These Rs are doing a scummy political hit job on Joe Biden. They deserve to be pilloried in the press for what they are doing.

They made a big deal about a phone call Hunter and another guy made to “DC” to try to get some pressure eased. And, during the R part of the testimony they try really hard to get Archer to say that the call to “DC” was to Joe. And Archer honestly doesn’t come across as very bright in the transcript, so he didn’t catch what they were doing. So Archer wasn’t clear that it wasn’t Joe during the first part.

IIRC somebody had to clarify with him later that all he knew was that there was a phone call made to “DC” to ask for help taking off some pressure. And the clarification was that when they all talked about their DC team, they were referencing the law firm and the lobbying firm they had hired in DC. He has zero idea who they called that one evening.

At least they released the transcript right away - not weeks later like they said at first. Another indication they knew it didn’t go well for their smear effort. They should be rightly ridiculed for wasting time and money on this.

You might want to let them know it didn’t go well. According to the oversight committee website where the transcript is posted:

—Joe Biden was “the brand” used to send “signals” of power, access, and influence.
—Then Vice President Joe Biden attended dinners with Hunter Biden’s foreign business associates who wired money to Biden associated LLCs (odd that is just says “Biden associated” and not “Hunter Biden associated. You’d think they would want to get that right)
—Then vice president Joe Biden spoke with Hunter Bidens business associates by speaker phone.
—Burisma executives requested Gunter Biden to get “help from D.C.” to address “government pressure.”
