I don't have as much hope in the runoffs if they both go there, but...

Many people wrote off Bel-Edwards for La gov but it happened. Granted Perdue is no Rispone unfortunately.

I was just saying in the Senate thread I think the big hitters would be in GA pushing these candidates big time. Also if Trump loses, he won't help any of the candidates. I think the Trump voters will be down and Biden voters will be energized with just winning the WH.
The Georgia runoffs are going to be nuclear!

I hope so, but Democrats here are notoriously hard to energize, especially for races that aren't President or Governor. I'm skeptical Democrats can take both seats, but I am hopeful. :)

I think you are right but don’t underestimate people voting different party down ballot. Maybe I’m a weirdo lol but I voted for Biden at the top then Republican everywhere else. I call it Kamala insurance as I perceive her to be farther left than Biden. There are a lot of people (myself included) who like divided government for a strong balance of powers

So it’s increasingly looking like Biden will win by the same electoral margin that Trump did in 2016. I think Ds need to start pushing that narrative to make the voters feel better about a win. The expectations were super high and people feel like the Trump rejection wasn’t big enough. Start talking about the repudiation of divisiveness and Trump. Well here you go:

There seems to be a lot of evidence for this. In many states, down ballot Republicans did much better than Trump did.

    13539 now...
50,401 votes left per SOS website. The last ballot drop didn’t move the needle much +711 for Biden on 10k votes. Remember, some of these ballots could be mailed in military ballots or red counties.

Anyone else think this thinly veiled intimidation?

The Justice Department told federal prosecutors in an email early on Wednesday that the law allowed them to send armed federal officers to ballot-counting locations around the country to investigate potential voter fraud, according to three people who described the message.

A law prohibits the stationing of armed federal officers at polls on Election Day. But a top official told prosecutors that the department interpreted the statute to mean that they could send armed federal officers to polling stations and locations where ballots were being counted anytime after that.

Yeah. He needs like 35-36k of those votes to win..

I think without Trump at the top of the ticket Perdue is in trouble. Dems have built one heck of a turnout machine in Georgia. The GOP's turnout machine was Trump love.
Stacey Abrams should be given huge praise for her work in Georgia since she lost the gubernatorial race.

ugh. EVERY. SINGLE. Comment from some (R) pundit or holding some office, is saying how unfair, all the fraud, stopping the vote, everything SEEMS suspicious etc. Are they really this brainwashed, when they simultaneously never speak out about (R) voter suppression tactics going on in certain (R) states (this is a rhetorical question)
