The failure comes just more than a month after the company’s seventh Starship flight also ended in an explosive failure. The back-to-back mishaps occurred in early mission phases that SpaceX has easily surpassed previously, indicating serious setbacks for a program Musk has sought to speed up this year.

Jesus how forked up is this? How useless this will be too for the people that need it.
The Social Security Administration (SSA) unveiled Thursday that it would use the social platform X to make announcements going forward, instead of traditional press releases or memos typically posted to the agency’s website.

“The agency will be using X to communicate to the press and the public — formerly known as Twitter,” Linda Kerr-Davis, SSA Midwest-West regional commissioner told employees in a call Thursday, according to Federal News Network (FNN).

Anyone buying a Tesla recently deserves whatever comes. Total scum. That snake has been pulling data on Americans for his own gain and there's nothing he'd stop at to screw others over to benefit himself.

Elon Musk’s Tesla has settled a racial discrimination lawsuit after a Black employee sued the company, alleging a manager sometimes greeted her by saying “welcome to the plantation” and “welcome to the slave house.”

Employee Raina Pierce, who installed latches on car doors at Tesla’s Fremont, California plant, finalized a settlement agreement with the automaker on Thursday, according to a filing in San Francisco federal court. Terms of the agreement remain unknown.

Pierce says she faced harassment, was called a gender-based insult and saw racial slurs scrawled on bathroom walls. Pierce also said she was yelled at and disciplined for behaviors that her non-Black coworkers were not.

According to the lawsuit, one Tesla employee who temporarily joined her line told Pierce to speak out.

“You need to go to HR because these leads are saying things about you that are not right,” the employee said.…….

It's hilarous that the stock is going up. Tesla has a PE ratio of 3 times Nvidia, and the stock goes up on the news of a 70% drop in profits.

Same as last year. The only reason why their revenue wasn't dog shirt then was that they sold their climate credit for nearly 2 billion. Demand down, huge stock [edit: inventory]. Despite that he promised more production....wait what???

What happened? Stock fell...them...voila cab promise that never came.

And this year...oh tariff will slow optimus release....ummm....maybe...just maybe...the release is slow because you can't have a human behind each robot to control it.

Huh, makes you wonder what part of the Multiverse the stock market is actually related to. Besides screwing up people’s retirement.

The world’s wealthiest man and the man tasked with keeping the world’s strongest economy on the rails amid President Donald Trump’s trade war got into what observers described as a professional wrestling-style shouting match over who would be placed in charge of the Internal Revenue Service last week.

According to Axios, the heated argument between Elon Musk and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent happened after Musk made an end-run around the Treasury boss to have Trump install a former IRS agent who leaked details about former president Joe Biden’s son’s taxes atop the tax collecting agency as a temporary commissioner until Trump’s pick to lead it is confirmed by the Senate.

The dispute was prompted by Musk pushing to Trump appoint Gary Shapley, the anti-Biden whistleblower, on April 16.

Bessent, whose department encompasses the IRS, had wanted his deputy, Michael Faulkender, to be the acting commissioner pending confirmation of former Missouri congressman Billy Long to the role.

The argument blew up during a meeting between the two wealthy Trump officials in the West Wing, at which point “F bombs started to fly” as the normally mild-mannered Bessent aggressively confronted the Tesla and SpaceX CEO.…..

A suburban New York man says he decided to purchase a Tesla after taking its billionaire chief executive at his word that the company’s vehicles are able to drive themselves, but once the car’s much-touted autopilot feature was activated, it promptly got confused and collided with a tree.

Ashutosh Shankar is now suing the electric carmaker in an effort to hold the company “and its representatives, including CEO Elon Musk, accountable for years of making misleading and deceptive statements” regarding Tesla’s supposed autonomous driving abilities, according to a lawsuit filed Wednesday in Westchester County Supreme Court…….
