We’ll seeWell, I guess we will find out when we see whether the seats are empty. Sendai seems to think people won’t hesitate to come to the US, which to me flies in the face of common sense. Especially from Brazil, Argentina and Venezuela. If I were in those countries, there is no way I’d ever set foot in the US. Not right now.
It’s like the Super Bowl. Too much interest to have empty stadiums. We’ll see
For every article that says attendance will be much lower than expected there’s another that says their system is crashing from getting so much traffic and reservations
Time will tell
There are always empty seats at World Cup Games. Especially for the teams that just aren’t that interesting. Not every team is England, Argentina, Brazil, or France. Not all corporate tickets are used. It’s normal.
Expect the semi finals and finals to be close to full.

Whole lot of teams here that won’t fill the stadium. Cannon fodder.
April 22 (Reuters) - A top envoy to U.S. President Donald Trump has asked FIFA to replace Iran with Italy in the upcoming World Cup, the Financial Times reported on Wednesday.
The plan is an effort to repair ties between Trump and Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni after the two fell out amid the American president's attacks against Pope Leo XIV over the Iran war, the FT reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
"I confirm I have suggested to Trump and (FIFA president Gianni) Infantino that Italy replace Iran at the World Cup. I'm an Italian native and it would be a dream to see the Azzurri at a US-hosted tournament. With four titles, they have the pedigree to justify inclusion," U.S. special envoy Paolo Zampolli told the FT.…….
“Fifa did not comment officially on Zampolli's suggestion but highlighted a statement made by Fifa president Gianni Infantino last week where he said: "The Iranian team is coming, for sure."Apparently FIFA has already rejected this idea.

Good, if they had earned inclusion they would have been in it already.Apparently FIFA has already rejected this idea.
