Trump has demanded judges who rule against his administration be impeached. Elon has agreed. MAGA in Congress has introduced articles of impeachment. Of course, this is blatantly unconstitutional and it's also wildly pathetic. Instead of being strong and law-abiding but taking their case to the higher courts, the fascists want to just impeach the judges. This has prompted the chief justice to make public comment that no, we don't do that.

    Not surprised.

I mean, c'mon Trump. Even if your premise was accurate, that the will of the people is to remove illegal immigrants, it's not by any means necessary. It's not like the will of the people is for you to kill them all and dump the bodies across the border (not to give the maniac ideas).

There are legal limits to almost everything.

You can tell from their comments and posts that they literally think the president can do anything he wants. Anything that stands in the way of that, including the law or the Constitution is wrong and must be destroyed.

It's crazy. Elon just lost another ruling (on USAID) - he's going to get even more aggitated.

Remember the cute old days when Fox News would call Obama, Emperor Obama for his EO's.

This is all like a bad movie plot.

I still cant understand how we got to this point. TFG is simply the most petty and vindictive 78 yr old on the planet. Its remarkable how aggrieved he portrays himself to be, all by the doings of EVERYONE but him.

And 77 million said " yeah this guy...this guy would make a great King...err President"

to borrow a British term " bloody ell"

President Donald Trump and his allies are in the middle of a weeks-long attempt to undermine the judges overseeing an avalanche of lawsuits against them. Judges who rule against him have been cast as corrupt, impeachable or criminal, and the president is incredulous that any federal judge could strike down a command from the executive branch as unconstitutional.

The administration has already repeatedly tested how far it can defy court orders, but a legal fight over the president’s authority todeport immigrants under a rarely used wartime law is steering the United States towards a dangerous constitutional crossroads, according to legal experts.

A timeline for those deportation flights and court orders is crucial to determine whether administration officials openly defied the judicial branch.

Officials could be held in contempt of court — an impeachable offense, according to Bruce Ackerman, Sterling professor of law and political science at Yale Law School and author of We the People, a multivolume series on the constitution.

Trump’s “assaults on the rule of law” could mean “we might well once again see an impeachment,” Ackerman told The Independent.
But nobody is certain what will happen next.

The administration is deploying a legal theory that would effectively grant the president limitless authority across the government and, by extension, over the courts, which have long acted as a critical check on the presidency.

“The unitary executive theory is really just a way to cloak the morphing of a democratically elected president into a dictator with the appearance of legality,” writes legal analyst and former federal prosecutor Joyce Vance.

“If presidents can do whatever they want, including putting people on a plane and sending them to prisons in a foreign country with no due process whatsoever, then really, who are we?” she wrote. “We are inevitably headed, whether it’s in this case or another, to a confrontation between a president who has rejected the rule of law and a judge sworn to enforce it. We are in an exceedingly dangerous moment for democracy.”…………

Anyone who thinks Trump is headed for his own impeachment (at least during this 2-year term) is actually crazy. He should be impeached, but the GOP has no spine to do it.
hell they cant do anythign at all they are totally useless not even worth enough for trump to wipe his boogers on. such a bunch of cowards scared of trump scared of the town halls. people should send them lots of diapers.

Can also argue Trump had as many injunctions, 5, from judges from his own party as Obama did. Of that list, they would be tied for the most from their party.

Elon Musk has reportedly donated to seven Republican members of Congress, all of whom support the Trump administration’s calls to impeach or ignore federal judges who have halted parts of President Donald Trump’s agenda.

Musk, who has claimed in recent days that such judges are leading a “judicial coup,” gave thousands of dollars in donations each to Representatives Eli Crane of Arizona, Lauren Boebert of Colorado, Andy Ogles of Tennessee, Andrew Clyde of Georgia, Derrick Van Orden of Wisconsin and Brandon Gill of Texas, and Senator Charles Grassley of Iowa, according to The New York Times.

The reported recipients are among the loudest voices in Congress pushing to impeach or to otherwise constrain the judges.

Rep. Gill has filed articles of impeachment against U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, who ordered the Trump administration to turn around a group of recent deportation flights to El Salvador amid a challenge to the White House’s invocation of the 1798 Alien Enemies Act for rapid deportations, a directive the administration ignored.…….

Tech billionaire and White House adviser Elon Musk is flexing his financial muscle in a Wisconsin election to decide a crucial state Supreme Court seat — giving away $100 to registered voters who sign a petition against “activist judges.”

Those who receive the money don’t have to vote the way Musk wants them to, and voter privacy laws guarantee no one will know how they vote once they are in the voting booth.

Musk’s America PAC is running the giveaway through April 1, when Wisconsin voters decide whether the highest court in a key swing state keeps its liberal tilt or flips conservative. The race between will pick between Republican Brad Schimel and Democratic candidate Susan Crawford has drawn intense national interest.

According to the “special offer for Wisconsin voters” attached to the petition that America PAC posted online, voters who refer others who sign the petition can get a bonus $100, on top of the $100 for their own signatures.

“Judges should interpret laws as written, not rewrite them to fit their personal or political agendas,” the petition reads.

“By signing below, I’m rejecting the actions of activist judges who impose their own views and demanding a judiciary that respects its role — interpreting, not legislating.”

The Wisconsin election could have major implications on issues like election laws, abortion rights and other priorities for each party.……
